Anyone buying the new Lego Chima toys? I saw them at Toys R Us and now they are at Target and Walmart. They look like freaking Thundercats! The Leonidas dude looks like Lion O. Anyways it's a mix of alligators, eagles, ravens and lions or something. Seems neat. The Eagle vehicles have mini cockpits that look like eagle heads but turn into little mini jets.

I haven't bought any, but I'm in love with that giant robot eagle vehicle.

And while not Chima, some of the space ships in their new space line (Can't remember it's name, has insects as enemies) are pretty friggin' sweet.

You know, something I was thinking about the other day, but forgot about until just now.
Given the surface simularities to Thundercats...

I wonder if Lego was pursuing the Thundercats lisence (Or vice versa) when Cartoon Network pulled the plug on it after the toyline failed, leaving Lego with a bunch of new molds they already spent money developing.

'course, I also wonder if the lego dinosaur line is a simular story with Jurassic Park (Either they failed to get the JP lisence and decided to do it anyway, or if they just did it and never bothered with the JP lisence, or if they had started and had the lisence yanked from them)

I picked up the eagle interceptor yesterday.
It's not without it's problems, but over all it's a fun set.
Only complaints I have is that it's designed in a way that the head doesn't line up smooth with the body, and is forever cast slightly downward. Also, the ball joints for the wings can't hold them up. They're not as tight or strong as the ones Kreo produces.

Love the bird minifigures.

i have picked up the small croc vehicle for my son and will be getting any sets under $19.99 as they have way to many sets for a new line. they also have 22 minifigs and after watching the show that line will just get bigger if it begins to make them money like ninjago. so far the minifigs consist of lions, wolfs, eagles, ravens and crocs. but in the show, they also have rhinos, skunks, bears and my fav apes. the ape mech in the show is something i'll get my son as soon as it's released. well that is if it ever does...
