McFarlane MK11 Commando Spawn 12 Inch Figure Revealed

12 inch, minimal articulation. If that's final, which it looks pretty close, then it has slight head and arm movement, boot swivel, etc. Very similar to the color tops version. It's a slightly poseable statue. I'm ok with that at 12 inches, no complaints. They have their place. I just hope they do it in full 7 inch articulated style with no holding back. Cut that sononfa up and give us the articulation we want/need. That will really be a kick ass figure if done right. That sculpt, cut it up, bring it.

There's been a McFarlane Con happening for three days?

Kind of, it's virtual, just them updating on various social media channels. We've reported on most of it on front page.

"Who shot this place up?"
"Dunno, he was wearing a bandana over his highly recognizable costume."

Hope they do a regular figure of this. It's one of his best costumes.

I see Todd got the licenses to Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. He's firing on all cylinders right now.

I know DST is probably not happy.

Jumping on the "we need a 7 inch of this figure" train.

If this had 7-10 points of articulation....would be great.

Back in the Day McFarlane made incredible 12" figures. Robocop was phenomenal.

Really want McFarlane to do some 12" Horror figures or Movie figures. Spawn is just okay...compared to that Robocop they made.

Why do you think that bro? It looks to be covered articulation to me possibly. I can see what look to be double knee joints. I'm guessing he will give it regular articulation, but he's using "pants" over the hips. Similar to Neca

I wasn't aware either. Not enough coverage.

It'll have that much I'm guessing.

I'm in the 7" scale version more but let's see this too.

It's possible there is more than what I listed, but I do not think this has a range like the 7 inch MK figures or recent McFarlane 7 inch. Based on looks and how he interacted with it in the video, it seems similar to their recent Cyberpunk2077 Johnny Silverhand:

https://news.toyark.com/2020/03/03/m...gallery-383874

Or the old Walking Dead 10 inch:

https://news.toyark.com/2016/02/08/m...o-shoot-191267

It is also possible it's not a final piece and that more articulation will be worked in, he's showed off painted samples without cuts before.

Bottom line, there is no track record for him doing significant articulation in the 10/12 inch range, and this doesn't look like it's changing that, to me, right now. And as I said too, ok with that at this scale.

For those looking for McFarlane news, can catch up here: https://news.toyark.com/companies/mcfarlane - 5 posts about key McFarlane Con items since Thursday.

I got really excited about this for a few seconds before I realized that A: this was going be another semi-articulated statue, and B: it's the "modern" Commando Spawn design with the giant bandanna, not the classic one with the targeting monocle:
