Green Lantern - Movie Trailers - iTunes

Green Lantern full movie trailer finally hits!

--------

I've still kinda got mixed feelings about this.
Would have much prefered Nathan Fillion as hal, and reynolds as rayner.
The suit irks me too, not for its design, but for the mass cg usage just looks fake to me. Though I said the same about avatar and it still had massive returns, so who knows. For me it's borderline painful to watch cause of how unnatural it looks with all the CG. At least abin sur doesn't look as fake as the rest.

Hope it's not done being rendered, at least, otherwise I'm starting to think they should have done a better mix of practical and CG.

Oh well, what do ya'll think?
And yup, that's a star saphire logo on ferris' helmet.
Along with other foreshadowing in the movie itself like certain entities...

Who is the main villain? I saw Sinestro, is it him? I hope that wasn't a Guardian I saw. If so, they got them totally wrong. I'll give it a try, but i'm more of a Marvel Fan. I still hope RR does Deadpool. He was really cool in Wolverine, for about 10 secs.

Tomar Re, Kilowog, Hector Hammond, and was that Tom Kalmaku? Even if this movie stinks I'm going to sit through it now.

I too think the CGI is pretty horrid but I'm more concerned about the tone of the movie. The way they cut that trailer makes it feel like a wanna-be Iron Man vibe. I still really hope this movie turns out great and does well, but it's looking like only one step up from Sci-Fi original, only better CG.

Looks great aside from the obvious CG.

i hope that wasn't the final effect shots being shown....looks like they were subpar for a major motion picture and more in line of a scifi channel flic.

Green Lantern is the movie site, whoops can't believe I forgot that.

I'm not enthused for the film really yet, but I'm still going to see it in theaters at least once.

The main villians are a lil two fold, supposed to have Parallax in it, as well as Hector Hammond, and maybe sinestro going bad.

The trailer has a yellow construct in it at one point towards the end, so maybe the yellow ring or parallax will represent.

I can't wait for the toys at least.

I will go see it most likely, but the effects don't look too hot.

Love the new avi, Megaprime33. It's Red-Pool!

As for GL, I'm definitely going to see it. But I'm also hoping the CGI in the trailer isn't the finished product.

Those are the finished shots. But, to be fair, the effects will probably (hopefully) look better on the big screen. Who knows.
