Yep, its a direct repaint of the Red Hulk. Noticed it right away in the pictures and with my Red Hulk that I have. No differences in sculpt at all. Here's to hoping I can get enough for everyone here thats already asked.

@omega - If you happen to have any left over after you've doled them out, please let me know. I frequent SDCC but am too far away to go to NYCC.

Pegwarmers?

Maybe in your area, but in mine Hulk figures fly off the shelves....even those using this crappy mold.

Thinking more about it I just know I'm gonna regret it if I don't get this. Damn you Hasbro, why couldn't you have used the GOOD Hulk mold to make this thing?

Decisions decisions.

This is AMAZING and completely makes up for the lack of an SDCC exclusive this year. Holy crap.

Except it's not a peg warmer. If it was in your area, that is a very rare case. But they, especially Red Hulk, were never peg warmers.

Oh stop, "cheaping out" would be not doing anything like this at all. They took a unique piece of artwork and repainted a figure to match it as an exclusive. There's nothing wrong with that.

Was there actually a "Composite Hulk" with the red and the green in a comic storyline or is this just a tribute to the cover art?

Agreed, Zeo. These are the sorts of items that should be SDCC exclusives. Artistic items that are not overly vital to a collection. Good on Hasbro for that. The kinds of things that piss me off are when they put out exclusives of actual characters and make it the only way to get them like Swamp Thing and Gleek. Why do a Superfriends wave if you're going to make the Wonder Twins and Gleek exclusives? Now we have to shell out $300 for it? Get real. Mattel could easily make up for this by releasing another Gleek and Wonder Twins in a varied sculpt in their "Club" but that'd be more than I'd expect from those dumbasses.

Looks the same to me except they painted the eye with the sclera of the eye as white with a dark pupil and a dark sclera with a light pupil as normal on the red side. Compare the hair line and hair at all points, they look exactly the same, except painted differently. Sadly, this is our Red Hulk figure, repainted.
It might be an illusion from the repaints division of head colors, but the divit where the seperation is looks deeper than on the pic or on my red hulk. The hairline also doesn't seem to have as many curves as the redhulk one. But again, that could just be an illusion from the coloring.

Yup, it was in the past years Hulk comic book as caused by impossible man merging the two for a battle with a fierce contender.

I had thought of doing a custom Compound Hulk months ago using one of my Rulk figs (I have both matt and glossy versions), but ended up not doing it since the overall idea of a green/red hulk seemed silly too me and really wouldn't know where to fit him in my MU collection. Though I must say the packaging art looks simply fantastic, but as the figure goes its alright, nothing special.

Compound Hulk isn't as cool as Compound Superman, but he'll do.

Yeah, I put all three in there. I'll let the Mods decided which one they want to keep open.
