Hi I don't understand when hasbro sits around a table and decides the final answer on some of their products.Like now the 2012 don't come with figure stands don't get me wrong like some of you that black stand I think is horrible it takes away from the figure and most of them I notice don't even hold the figures!!AM I right?I rather have a clear stand! which some of my loose figures have and they hold the figures fine...

I prefer the accessories to the stands- but I'm a sucker for glowy parts to represent powers.

As to what goes in or out of a MU, we dont know half of their costs- anything from shipping to liscensing fees may be forcing Hasbro to cut corners to keep the price point where it is....just look at Mattel's super ripoff of zero articulation AND a ten dollar pricetag!

Dip the hand in hot water, squeeze it shut, then dip it in icewater- it should stay more "closed" afterward and (hopefully) hold his weapon.
Alternately, swap the hand- Madrox's hand is a good color match, I think...maybe needs some paintin.

Agreed, but stuff like that can come from pulling the part from the mold- like how you can break the hell out of a fig taking it out of the package!
Bad quality was my getting a Human Torch with two left arms.

I still don't understand why they would cut stands, that just seems like a cheapskate thing to do.

Its a toyline that is apparently increasing in price, and I haven't seen confirmation that the amount of accessories is increasing, so this sucks for the average MU collector.

i normally in favor of the stands but i dont have the room for them on my display shelf anymore. I have to pack the figs close together. At this point im all for accessories. although it doesnt make sense for most MU figs. Im hoping the new punisher will have gi joe levels of guns, but the rate that hasbro is shafting us, i doubt well get more than two.

MU is...not the place to get guns.
Best guns are from the Crysis figures- holy shit those weapons are amazing n my AIM crew!
The GI Joe, obviously, but if you want cool sci fi stuff for your henchmen, it's gotta be Star Wars.

we're blessed with various lines of weapons!

Wow. That's B.S. My local MU prices are already $9. 2-Packs $17-something. So they take the stands away to save *them* money, and then they increase the price again. Nice one, hasblow. lol I've already cut back on buying MU's.

It sucks that they stopped including them, because a lot the figures need them just to stand -- like the new Storm. I can't get her to stand up.

Even if he does, it'll be soft plastic crap, like any of the other MU guns.

We have no idea what is driving the decisions.. it could be that they are at the mercy of some plastic supplier who has THEM over the barrel by jacking the price of the raw materials. Could be paint prices. Could be packaging prices. Maybe the building they manufacture out of was hit by Godzilla. A million scenarios might go into us not getting stands or repulsar ray effects.

personally I think the stands had to go due to the newer molds. the newer molds feature more parts, and then add onto the accessories and better paint job, somthing had to give.

however, I would LOVE it if Hasbro would sell stands seperatly on their website. in packs of 20.
