Yea same for non subscribers so far.

@CJ: Thank you tons of the offer, but it would actually be cheaper for me to buy from MC.com =3.

I don't believe Metron is free, or intended to be. He's just the club exclusive, and available no other way than to subscribe. He cost $30, but they didn't charge for him all at once.
I think it was half when we subscribed, and half with Jay Garrick.

Metron was "free" with the original $30 paid subscription. The $30 was for the privilege of subscribing. Metron was "free" as the day is long, officially. After the initial $30, we all just paid for shipping costs.

Ah. I pretty much just equated that cost to Metron, which it probably is anyway.

Yea, looking at is as a "free" figure or "free" sub is right both ways XD.

Really curious as to what Mattel has planned though. Hrothgar posted an eBay look which looks like John Constantine so god knows what we will get, it will probably be awesome either way.

News from the MattyCollector forum:
Quote:
This was mentioned today by Scott aka ToyGuru as he was answering a question on the MattyCollector.com message boards:

"In the end if we do not enough subscribers, much like GB 2012, the DCU sub will be canceled. We’ll run a thermometer so fans can be in the loop! We even marked a higher goal at tier 2 that would give us the suppose to explore a fully tool’d figure for 2014. But tier 1 is the base and we need to hit that to move forward."
In other words if the 2013 sub hits a higher "Tier 2" minimum number of subscriptions, Matty will consider development of new fully-tooled buck for 2014. In addition to the various current 6-inch bucks & the oversized (CnC) bucks, achieving Tier 2 will bring a new buck into play for 2014.

Where do I sign?

Also, ToyGuru no speak English good.

2013 DC Club Infinite Earths subscriptions are now live on Mattycollector.com, and available until midnight on Monday, August 6, 2012.

Full info:

MattyCollector.com Clubs Online Store - 2013 DC Universe Club Infinite Earths Subscription

Quote:
2013 DC Universe Club Infinite Earths Subscription
Available 7/13 at 1 p.m. PT thru 8/6 at 11:59 p.m. PT

Please read the details for Club Infinite Earths below, then return to the main Subscriptions page to make your selection.

About Club Infinite Earths

If you’re a DC Universe fan, Club Infinite Earths is the only place to get fan-demanded, true collector characters! It’s offered for the second year in a row and like 2012, we need to reach a certain number of subscriptions to move forward. Throughout the subscription sign-up period, the thermometer will be updated to show how close we are. If we don't hit the goal, then we won't be able to offer the club. But if we do, the club will move forward and we’ll produce the mind-blowing lineup we have planned for you.

As fans ourselves, we’re dying to really dive deep into the line… once Level 1 is reached, we’ll continue tracking sales and if we reach Level 2, we’ll start looking into the possibility of fully tooled figures for a potential 2014 subscription!

For 2013, Club Infinite Earths will be structured like 2012, except you’ll get a full year of figures. Purchase a membership and approximately every month in 2013 starting in January, you’ll automatically be shipped and billed for the Club Infinite Earths monthly figure. Plus, a club-exclusive Monsieur Mallah figure paired with his beloved Brain will be included in your membership fee!

Benefits of Club Infinite Earths

Along with the chance to get more than a dozen authentic DCU figures created just for collectors, here are even more reasons to purchase a 2013 subscription:

NEW! Early Access to Non-Subscription Products: In 2013, all Club subscribers get early access to all non-subscription products, regardless of brand! That means you’ll have the chance to purchase hot items not available through subscriptions before non-subscribers, like 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises 8” Batman™ figure and the Ghostbusters™ PKE Meter prop replica. Availability is first-come, first-served, so if products sell out to subscribers during the early access period, that’s it – no additional product will be made available to non-subscribers at that time.

Club-Exclusive Figure. The only way to purchase the club-exclusive Monsieur Mallah figure and the Brain through Mattel is to buy a membership to Club Infinite Earths! This item will not be sold separately on MattyCollector.com.

Pay Less for Subscription Products: The cost for monthly subscription figures in 2013 is $18 each when shipped through a subscription, but $20 for purchases made on regular sale days – that is, if they’re not sold out to Early Access customers via Early Access!

Early Shipping: Subscription orders generally begin shipping two business days before non-subscription orders so subscribers usually get their orders before non-subscribers.

Club Infinite Earths Details

There’s a lot of information here, so please read carefully before you make your purchase…

The 2013 membership subscription purchase period ends on Monday 8/6 at 11:59 p.m. PT and there will be no extensions so get yours now! Ready to make your purchase? Return to the main Subscriptions page.

The total commitment for 2013 is $246, plus applicable fees/taxes and shipping (varies depending on your location and the shipping method you choose). This includes 12 monthly figures (12 @ $18 = $216) and a $30 membership fee for a total of $246 plus shipping/taxes/fees.

You will also be shipped the club-exclusive Monsieur Mallah figure with the Brain around the first quarter of the year. This item is included in the cost of the membership ($30), however applicable shipping and taxes/fees will be charged at the time of shipment.

Figures are announced approximately one to two months before each on-sale date. The schedule to date includes Saint Walker (January), Phantom Stranger (February), Elongated Man (March), Larfleeze (April), and Wally West (May). All names and release dates are subject to change.

You may purchase as many memberships as you want during the on-sale period - there are no limits! Once the enrollment period has ended, memberships cannot be purchased until the following year (if offered).

ONCE PURCHASED, MEMBERSHIPS MAY NOT BE CANCELLED.

When you purchase a membership, your credit card will be pre-authorized for $48 (the cost of the membership plus the first month’s figure) plus estimated shipping and taxes for the figure. Pre-authorization means that the money is reserved from your available credit card balance. This is a standard practice done to ensure your credit card has sufficient funds available. Your card will immediately be charged $30 for the membership fee and the remaining pre-authorization amount will drop off after several days. You will not be charged for the first figure until it ships in 2013. For more information about pre-authorizations, please visit the Shop FAQs http://bit.ly/c2MP9t.

Beginning with the first shipment in January 2013, your credit card will be automatically pre-authorized approximately five (5) calendar days prior to the official on-sale date of each Club Infinite Earths item, then charged when the item ships. Figures usually begin shipping approximately two (2) business days prior to the official on-sale date, around the 15th of each month.

Applicable taxes and fees may apply depending on your location and are billed with products. Please visit the Shop FAQs for more information about domestic and international taxes and fees http://bit.ly/c2MP9t.

Shipping costs apply and will vary depending on the destination, weight of the package and the shipping method chosen. These costs are billed with products. For 2013, there will be updates to shipping costs and methods, including a new, lower cost option for international customers. Most shipping methods will see small increases in cost, although some premium methods will see a slight decrease in cost. UPS International will be replaced with DHL, which provides a better service, including signature delivery and 2 to 3 day delivery times in most regions, at a substantially lower price than UPS International. We will still offer International Post as an option for international customers, but “lost” or “not received” shipments will not be replaced or refunded.

Should your card expire during the membership period, you’ll be able to update any credit card information. You can also change your billing and/or shipping address.

All figures EXCEPT the club-exclusive figure will also be available at MattyCollector.com around the 15th of each month without the membership. Provided they haven’t sold out during the Early Access period, non-subscribers will have the chance to buy these figures, but the price will be higher ($20 for regular figures). Availability isn’t guaranteed and the purchase limit is ten (10) per person.

Ordering multiple subscriptions from multiple brands? All subscription orders from all brands with product releases in the same month will ship together regardless of whether they are purchased in the same transaction. They must have the same billing address, shipping address, payment details and shipping method in order to be shipped together. Combined shipping will occur only after the first figure in a subscription has shipped. If you’d rather they didn’t ship together, you’ll be able to change this default.

Special convention items, reissues, weapons paks, stands and other accessories are not included. Mattel reserves the right to offer those and any other Masters of the Universe® items, and reissue non-subscription items. Subscriptions will not include any additional items beyond those listed above.

Other figures purchased outside the membership are charged and shipped separately.

Remember, Club Infinite Earths subscriptions are only available for a short time. The 2013 membership subscription purchase period ends on Monday, 8/6 at 11:59 p.m. PT and there will be no extensions so get yours now! Ready to make your purchase? Return to the main Subscriptions page.

P.S. Subscriptions are also available for MOTUC Club Eternia® and the new Watchmen Club Black Freighter!

IMPORTANT:
Subscriptions CANNOT be purchased in the same transaction with non-subscription products. If you would like to purchase products other than subscriptions, please complete your subscription purchase first, then return to the Shop.

You must be 18 or older to purchase this product.

I just finished subscribing.

The subscription fee ($30) plus payment for the January figure ($18) plus shipping & taxes ($10-$15) are due at the time of sign-up.

My total was approx. $61.

I re-subed for next year, also added on MOTUC and Watchmen... I like how they explained the payment system for each, a lot more clear then it was in the past, and they are now combining all subs in one shipment, so I wont get charged three S/h fees

so it looks like this

Series 1: 2012
May - Jay Garrick
June - Atrocitus and Metron
July - Starman VII and Red Rocket
August - Mirror Master
September - Black Mask
October - Poison Ivy and Elasti-girl (with mini) Elasti-girl
November - John Constantine, Uncle Sam and (mini) Dollman
December - Platinum, Tin, and Lead

Series 2: 2013
Januaury - Saint Walker
Feb - Phantom Stranger
March - Elongated Man
April - Larfleeze and Maonsiur Mallah
May - Wally West (May must be Flashmonth)
June -
July -
August -
September -
October -
November -
December -

So Im guessing that June - October will be announced at NYCC or NJTF

Just a quick question are Elastigirl and Dollman on the scale of Mini atom?

Feb 2013 is Phantom Stranger, if you want to fix your post there. I'm glad to see you've summarized it like that -- it's very helpful.

And April has "Monsieur Mallah" with Brain.

Phantom Stranger is one I am most happy about Old School character (that is about to get rebooted in the New 52) Kinda like the Watcher in Marvel, He is immortal and cursed to walk the earth observing but "not to interfear" as punishment from some old gods or something.

I think you're mistaken. The only reason the oversized are getting doubled up with normals this year is because they got such a late start, and have no choice. The subscription is supossed to be 12 figures total, between 8 regular figures, and four oversized (including the subscription exclusives like Mallah and Metron).

I can see where he is coming from, because of this quote:

18$ is for regular figures, but it doesn't say anything about oversized. However, if they are charging regular price of an 6" figure for an oversized, then sweat deal!

yeah, somewhere in Matty's paragraph, something doesn't add up right. Though I don't get doubled up figures from that, either. Five will get you ten he's taking that from this year's example.

For sure, I can see why some people would though. As long as they don't charge me more, then I am happy.

So far I want every figure from the 2013 line. Heck I want more from the 2012 than I thought. I do hate going in on a hunch but so far I love what I see.

There are two figs in April & a total of 13 figs in the 2013 sub.

Quote:
  • The total commitment for 2013 is $246, plus applicable fees/taxes and shipping (varies depending on your location and the shipping method you choose). This includes 12 monthly figures (12 @ $18 = $216) and a $30 membership fee for a total of $246 plus shipping/taxes/fees.
  • You will also be shipped the club-exclusive Monsieur Mallah figure with the Brain around the first quarter of the year. This item is included in the cost of the membership ($30), however applicable shipping and taxes/fees will be charged at the time of shipment.
  • Figures are announced approximately one to two months before each on-sale date. The schedule to date includes Saint Walker (January), Phantom Stranger (February), Elongated Man (March), Larfleeze (April), and Wally West (May). All names and release dates are subject to change.
The panel slideshow also showed release dates.
