Hello, I appologize if this isn't the correct spot to post this. If it's not I'll gladly post in correct area.
Basically I was just curious do we know what figures are coming out anytime during 2015? I basically collect big movie figures like the avengers, other marvel figures, tmnt, transformers, doctor who, dc stuff and so forth. I don't collect everything under the moon but I collect a good amount. I try to stick to Roughly the same scales. So not too many of the marvel legends or dc larger ones. Lately I've been attempting at getting the legendary power ranger figures in hopes they'll make the rest of the Rangers in the same scale before shifting to another scale making them all different sizes. But I'm just curious where's the best sources to find out what is coming out in 2015? Or that's already been announced or where to look at when they are? I'm assuming probably just have to wait until the toy fairs later in the year? |

Some have already been announced. There is going to be a Build a Figure Thanos wave for Avengers 2 figures coming out in May. Well, I think it is the normal bs that half of the figures come out in May and the other half in Sept becuase that is so freaking stupid.

Like Dr Kain said...we should be getting some Avengers 2 figures this year, as well as the Odin/King Thor BAF waves from Marvel Legends. The new Marvel Universe line (w/Classic Beast, Black Cat, Sandman) is just starting to show up on Ebay as well. We're also supposed to be getting a smaller scale Avengers line, but as to what size, I'm not sure. I'm hoping that the Avengers 2 line has a 3.75" scale, but I've been reading rumors that the 3.75" figures have been cancelled, and are actually going to be in the 2.5" inch scale that we got with the Guardians of the Galaxy. I hope not. I'd love to army build a bunch of Ultron's to wage war against my G.I.Joes...

I'm assuming probably just have to wait until the toy fairs later in the year? For Marvel Legends 2015: the AllFather Infinite wave is due out in a couple of weeks (end of Jan/early Feb). The figs for this wave are: Machine Man Thor Scarlet Witch Sentry Iron Fist Captain Marvel Hawkeye Baf's: Odin & King Thor (variant) Also from Marvel Legends in 2015: Spiderman Infinite Marvel Legends. The figs announced thus far for this wave are: Spiderman (duh lol - this one looks very cool though with multiple hand accessories) May Parker: Spidergirl Spiderman 2099 Baf: Hobgoblin Also announced for 2015 from Marvel Legends: Gaurdians of the Galaxy (comic versions) 5 pack The figs for this set have not been officially stated, we only know that they will be comic versions of the team. Also announced for 2015 from Marvel Legends will be a line that includes Thanos (Infinity outfit) as a Baf...however, there isn't much information on who will fill out the ranks of this line. Also announced (if I'm not mistaken) was a Shield Agent three-pack that will include Agent Coulson and Maria Hill....not much more info on this. Also announced for 2015, albeit without specification as to what lines they will be a part of were: Valkyrie (modern version) Hellcat ...but who knows how they will get these figs out. I hope this helps.... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 01-03-2015 at 10:33 AM.. Reason: spelled coulson incorrectly.... |

I really hope they don't screw over the marvel cinematic toy lines by making them those cheap, terrible dollar store guardians figures. Those things were dreadful. Sure they lost money on that. The legend figures are great but the 2.5" ones are just yuck. So I hope the marvel universe (are those the ones you said might be canceled?) and cinimatic ones stay the same. I'm bummed I couldn't add the guardians to the avengers amd cinematic lines.
I typically try to keep them all around the same scale. I don't really buy the legends lines. Off the top of my head it's mostly the 3.75" figures of movies and comic figures. So marvel and dc. Power rangers since they released the legendary reds and 6th rangers I'm hoping they'll release the rest of the Rangers in the same scale. I'd say I collect marvel figures universe and movie figures, DC multiverse and animated looking batman ones, Star Wars, doctor who, Lord of the rings, power rangers, Spider-Man (if they are good.), some gi joes, transformers, tmnt. Not sure how much more. I hope they don't cancel the marvel universe line. Though it has a lot of characters come out I feel like there is still a good amount they could and should do. I am just now seeing the black boxed ones coming around. I shouldn't of had passed on ant man. |

I would like to think that the Marvel Universe line is still going strong, however the line has been up and down over the past few years, having been re-branded several times, and distribution of them (at least in my town) still sucks. Finding these in the stores has been rather difficult and no one is fessin up who to blame (Target and TRU blame Hasbro, while Hasbro turns around and blames them.) Who knows what lies ahead in the future as companies look to go cheaper and raise profits....but at least MU is still here for now. |

The marvel u figures are just now over the last few months showing up at targets, meijer and tru. It's usally the same ones but I've seen a few new ones.
If the avengers 2 figures are scaled down to the guardians line and have the same quality I can't imagine them selling much of those. |

It's possible that the gaps in lines reported at SDCC may get filled with the missing movie figs? I don't know.....
