Hey guys, just wondering, what do you guys keep out of your packaging (if any) from your loose figures? Backing cards? Blisters? File cards? Foldout adverts? Inserts? I know some people collect the DC and WWE emblems and the Shield/HAMMER crests from their Marvel Universe figures.

I used to keep the bubble still attached to the card but that took up too much room so I just keep the card backs and try to keep them intact as much as possible. I keep whatever accessories and anything else that is included in little baggies if they arent displayed with the figure.

Great thread topic thechris.

I did at one time hold onto the packaging but have since stopped, and thrown out all the old packaging I had accumulated.

As a kid I cut out and held on to MOTU comics, GI Joe, DC Superpowers, and Transformers file cards/ Tech specs. As a young adult I held on to TMNT, Spawn and X-Men cards backs. I've kept things like 25th anniversary GI Joe & MOTUC card backs All the inside bits of MU and Iron Man figs. I was hoping the Fury Files was gonna be something interesting. If it had a file to cut out I will save it. Packaging does take up a lot of space. I used to hold onto all my MOTU Classics boxes and packaging. It became too daunting and was starting to take over a room.

Its fun finding packaging from your youth later in life.

I remember finding some Real Ghostbusters packaging not too long ago and got a kick out of it.

Yep, I always keep the card back and any inserts. In fact I still have a few Machine Men and Kenner Star Wars card backs from when I was a kid.

It depends on the packaging. I keep the card back and the side panel for marvel select figs, because I like the art. But mostly I just keep the file cards.

I used to keep the everything but like most it started to take up too much room. Now I keep everything but the clear blister. Exept for the more expensive stuff like masterpiece TFs and third party. I keep everything for those.

I usually keep all card backs, and instructions or any other things that come in the package. If I feel the box is awesome, then I'll keep that too... Galactus box, 35th Anniversary Set box, Masterpiece Transformers, etc. I do keep the DC Universe logo/banner things, and the Hammer or Shield logos from MU. I sometimes will put them on the shelf with the figures.

The only line I collect that I always keep it all, and am very careful when opening, is my MOTUC's.

I did at first until I ran out of room. Now I just cut the bubble off of the card, takes up virtually no room at all. I'll eventually go back and do it to the rest, what a chore that should be lol.

I'll keep the nicer boxes (disassembled) and all the cardbacks. MU has great artwork.

For regular retail toys, I keep the card backs and instructions for most figures, especially if it has some type of bio or stat info. For inserts and other filler, I keep at least one copy of each Transformers/G.I.Joe insert (the "In Stores Now/Coming Soon" checklist-type stuff), and the MU Fury Files. But all the other stuff gets tossed in the trash bin.

For exclusives, I will try to keep everything, including packaging. Thankfully most packaging for exclusives are designed with that in mind (SSDC, Botcon, etc.).
