Did Target raise the price on their Spider-Man figures? $9.99 seems outrageous to me for these crappy things for some reason...

They're still $8 by me. Are you sure that's not a price tag for one of those "Spiderman on an ATV" figures with the wrong item on the peg?

They're also actually on sale for $7 this week.

That's what we Canadians have been paying for years. Somehow, these do seem to sell. Even at 10.99 and 11.99. Some senior citizen walks into Target to buy her grandchild a toy, like she's going to know any better. Spider-man is Spider-man and he'll probably soil his pants with joy when he sees it, too.

Haha, at Rexall Drugs here, they sell Marvel Universe for $17.99 and they move, albeit slowly.

Another great post, too damn funny. Hey at $9.99 you might be able to score that elusive Ninja Spiderman or Cosmic Spiderman thats packed one per case!

Damn that's crazy. It's still $6.99(sale price) by me.I remember when I first started collecting. MU was $9.99 at Wal-Mart. Needless to say I hardly every bought from Wal-Mart at first.

They did that with the clone wars figures also, then on Sunday they put them on sale for 6.99. Maybe they are trying to stop scalpers from buying stuff before a sale to then return it during a sale or something, not that Spiderman is a scalpers line.

That is nothing, in Europe it is much much worse. In my country for example the only Marvel action figures are these shitty spidy waves priced at $16.50, gratiously lowered to $11.90 in this particular shop. And the rest of Europe is almost the same.

Is Hasbro even continuing with this line? I haven't seen this merchandise restocked at WM in a long time. Target has had revision waves when they were on sale a while back. But that's it.

I bet it will get canceled after the new Spider-Man line gets released.

Yeah, it's getting replaced with the new spidey line when it starts. Until then they still have to work out the revision cases that include new figures like lizard and shocker, and whatever other surprises we never heard about like shocker was.

The line would do so much better if it wasn't comprised of 500 Spiderman.
