The only problem with 6" Joes is Vehicles. Thats a main part of G.I. Joes and would be quit expensive for 6" Scale

I think the price of a 6" Joe itself might give me pause. With the way the Marvel Legends are priced nowadays and how Joes come with a bunch of accessories, these just might retail for $30 each. For that price, I could get two of the Sigma 6 figures on eBay.

Vehicles would be a nightmare.

Well hasbro did release the following:
Ghost rider with bike, squirell girl & deadpool moped , and charles xavier in the classic hover chair..
I reckon they could do it with motor bikes but anything thing bigger would need to be a haslab project

Haslab 1/12 scale USS Flagg... doubles as a mobile home.

Theres quite a few 1/12 star wars Black Series vehicles as well. I'd bet you could get up to a Humvee size vehicle before they need to look into haslab

Starwars also has like a bajillion times bigger market than GI Joe. Hasbro could make an AT-AT the size of a German Shepherd, for $250, and it would sell out. You make a tank the size of a microwave, and it'd probably be on clearance in a month.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made half a hemisphere of the Death Star for Haslab at 1K and it sell out. Every GI Joe fan I know personally are only wanting the 4" figures to continue. They are committed to the scale.

As a lifelong G.I. Joe fan, I'm salivating thinking about a 6" line. If it does come to fruition, it'll mean my ban of all things Hasbro in my house will have to reach an end.

As long as there's still 4 inch Joes I don't care who makes them or what else they offer. I just miss seeing them in stores.

I’d have to argue that, if diehard fans ( me included) are willing to shell out hundreds, ..couple thousand at The now extinct International Joe conversation then I’m pretty sure they’d buy an exclusive 12” scale Mobat or Hiss. If it’s done correctly and included the Hiss driver or Steeler.

I guess "banned" isn't the right word. Because they mostly make figures from licenses I despise, I just don't own any or have any desire to own any. That is, unless they make 6" Real American Hero figures.

I don't doubt the die hard fans. I just doubt the numbers of them. Transformers is much bigger than GI Joe (judging by number of movies, product lines, etc), and it struggled to sell Unicron - a major character in the mythologies. Took them an extra month and, if you believe in conspiracies, some numbers manipulations.

The Sail barge of Jabba passed it's goal with relative ease. A 6" HISS might sell at or below $150... might, but definitely no retail space at that price. MOBAT? I'm less certain of that selling 8 to 10,000 pieces. No way in heaven or hell would they make a 12" scale HISS or MOBAT. That would be over $500 unless it's super thin and no details.

As someone who never got into GI Joe and just observed from a distance I think this is a pretty solid first wave roster. The only 6" Joe I'd be interested in is Firefly, I like his look and his saboteur motif. I'd hope these don't skimp on accessories.

Shit! My mistake I meant to say 6” scale not 12”. I agree with you on that, no way would a 12” vehicle be made now. I mean there were some back in the 90’s as my son had the Jeeps and hummers and a tank. ( I worked at TRU back then and grabbed them with my discount)
But today no way, 12” lines are dead.

Yeah, definitely some heavy hitters in that lineup. Wouldn’t be mad if a cobra soldier were included though. Regardless, definitely all in on this if it’s true.

Yah, I'll be buying Scarlet and Lady Jaye if their designs and sculpts are decent to keep MIB, but that's it probably. The only reason I bought Marvel Legends was because I believed that would be the only way to complete my 90's X-men teams... and ML came through with flying colors. If dumb MU had finished the 90's teams I wouldn't have felt the need to switch to ML.

My modern 3.75" Joe collection is pretty much complete though... I have all the main people I want already. The other figures I want were made, but they are club exclusives, so they are just too expensive... but at least they exist.

The thought of seeing any Joes at retail again is really exciting though.
