Up for sale is no doubt the most complete set of the Marvel Universe line that you have seen anywhere! There are only roughly 15 pieces missing from the whole line!!! These have all been personally collected by myself and are ALL in M/NM condition. I'm selling for one simple reason... to stop me from buying more! AND because my wife is pregnant with twins... so really 2 reasons... or I guess 3! Anyways, I've crunched the numbers and what I'm asking is what I feel comfortable parting with these for. NO I WILL NOT PIECE THIS COLLECTION OUT!!! So do not ask. Don't waste your time with lowball offers either. Please note, I have everything listed that has been released as of now, if it is part of this collection I'm selling, there is an X next to it. Thanks

P.S. - I actually have a non-listed, possible error Scarlet Spider where he is packaged hanging upside-down and the plaque reads Scarlet Spider.

P.P.S. - I have purchased a Compound Hulk on eBay and it will be included in this collection as well!!!

Are these MOC or loose? I think $1800 would be very cheap for a MOC collection.

Impressive and interested. I also have entire collection, save 14 pieces and I'm looking to duplicate my entire collection to display. Still available?

Honestly, why not save them for your twins? Imagine how much money you're going to save already having a full set of toys for them when they're older.

(It's why I'm hanging onto my lego sets)

Also, no, it's not a good deal, unless there's some phantom brand new rich fan who wants the entire line in one shot. You'd be better off selling it off in groups, maybe per wave.

The price per piece is a good deal, while yeah, you may be paying close to top dollar for some singles, getting 2 packs and con exclusives at that price?? Where else will you find that? And does nobody understand I did say best offer. I have some wiggle room. Not willing to let it go for something stupid like 1200 tho. And my twins can have my massive comic book and sideshow collectibles collection, but thanks for the advice. And I cant bear to break this up into pieces to sell, it would be too hard on me. Thanks for the endless comments on how its too much though, those are really helpful!

Is this your auction? Because there were no bids on it at that price.
Most Complete Marvel Universe Collection ANYWHERE!! Singles, 2-packs, Exclusives | eBay
We are trying to let you know that the price is a little high and its going to take you a very long time to find anyone that would buy that entire lot at that price.
IMO, 1000-1200 is a much more reasonable price and would probably go for about a G if you did a non-reserve auction on eBay.
Yes it totals to 10 bucks a figure and there are exclusives and hard to find items at 50-60or more a piece but who wants to pay 10 bucks a figure for common and most that are really easy to find. The best thing to do is part it out and sell the hard to find figures separately and then sell in lots with figures that pertain to each other.

$1200 would only be a good deal if I took it to a dealer/retailer. Which by the way, I already had someone in a brick and mortar offer me $1200 and I turned it down. I'm trying to get what I feel is reasonable, and like I said, I'm not going to ask for my bottom number because then someone will try to undercut that. I know what I'm asking, I know what I'm willing to take, and I know what they're worth. I'm not looking to sell on eBay either, they take their hefty cut and I have to pay an awful lot in shipping.

I don't think that's bad at all for MOC. You may not sell it for that at this point, but it's not unreasonable.

As delicately as I would expect it to be if I were buying them. I would be open to negotiations as to how you would like them shipped.

Congrats on the twins! As a father of a pair myself, I can tell you that while the first three months are a blur, you still have some free time (although sleep deprived) for around the first 6. After about 6 months or so, your free time steadily decreases.

It's an awesome experience I wish everyone could have.

Also, best of luck to you in selling your collection for your price point. If you have the time, there will one day be a buyer who will meet your price.

I'm fascinated to find out how you decided that the MU collection would be the one to part with...

I imagine shipping alone would cost several hundred dollars at least. I'd recommend splitting up things by type. Like, sell series 1 as a lot, series 2 as a lot, the Secret Wars comic packs as a lot, etc.

I know it's a lot more work, but you're going to get much more money for it. While $1,800 is very cheap considering how much you probably actually spent on buying all the figures and all the time plus high shipping costs, VERY few people can just drop that on toys.

A lot more people will be able to afford $200 to $300 lots.

Plus, there are very few people who haven't collected MU at all, but want to buy the whole thing in one swoop -- AND have the money. There are plenty of people who have significant holes in their collections and may splurge on a bunch of stuff at once.

Then frankly, you'll never be able to sell it. Accept that. This isn't the 90's. There's no massive action figure speculation market. And if you didn't want discussion on the price, then, well, you shouldn't have posted in the wrong forum.
