Any of you buy the new WWE figures by Mattel? I had my doubts, I mean I STILL CAN'T FIND THE NEWEST DCUC waves at any given time, and aside from the 4H, I don't really look at much Mattel figures.

Then I saw the WWE protos, was IMPRESSED, then saw them in person. Gentle Giant did a GREAT job with the digital sculpts and the final production toys look great! Better than the Jakks figures. In other great news, the toys seem to be EASY to find! Not the limited ones of course(cool idea, but I'm not rushing to get one).

I just wish each figure had ELITE level articulation. Wish tcrotch movement wasn't the norm for wrestling figures. I mean you have to pay $5 more for a figure with the best articulation, that's a significant increase.

I saw Undertaker and MVP today, both look great. I think I will wait for Elite wave 2(I only plan on getting Elites), and wait for a classic gray glove Undertaker. Anyone pick these up yet?

The ones I've seen have been impressive, but not enough to get me to buy. Maybe if I see a classic Taker on the shelf, I might pick him up. But I dropped out of wrestling figures a long time ago and nothing so far has been enough to bring me back beyond a one-off here and there.

Man, wrestling figures have come a long way since the rubber LJN WWF figures! I went to TRU looking for John Cena and said to myself that I would buy him if I found him. Wouldn't you know he was the only figure they didn't have from series 1. Had 2 of everybody else! Picked up Batista just for kicks and to do a review for my blog. Short story, I'm impressed. T crotch does suck, but otherwise it's a solid figure. Will I be buying many more? I doubt it...I already collect way too many other things!

I'll pick and choose from the Elite line.

I used to use a lot of Jakks "street clothes" figures as custom fodder, so I'm curious to see if Mattel is going to give us anything like that.

The Flex Force Ring is out now. Saw it at K-Mart last week and posted the sighting.

Is there another ring for the Elite line?

Whoa that's fast! Yes it is early, however basics wave 2 was released recently as well.

Are t-crotches dealbreakers for you guys? They are for me. For now I plan on cherry picking the Elites, however, the character selection and scupts of the basic figures is starting to win me over. I REALLY LIKE the Entrance Greats, marvelous idea. Wish those had Elite articulation though.
