The first one hasn't even came out yet, but looks like #2 is slated to being written.

To be fair, the two write human characters a lot better than they write robots. TF Movie and TF Prime, not so good. New Star Trek, pretty damn good.

Though while this should not be bad news, I still cannot accept it as the best thing I've heard today. Getting kinda tired of them, since they seem to have their hands in *everything.*

really ? *sigh* im bit tired of spidey in all fairness i dont mind them expermenting with new villians and characters which is okay i guess but i would hate reptition i.e doc-ock or sand man etc , hehe just thought of the Rhino that would be a pretty lameish film unless they did the sinister six or insdious six (kinda the same team) but yh i dont want them to carry on with him really they should introduce more characters like they did with iron man , thor and captain america ! to make the avengers. I wouldnt mind seeing an iron fist film or luke cage film marvel has soo many big names to pick from why cant they just do that .....

I think a good pick for a spiderman villian, would be Kraven, Green goblin, Venom, or Carnage. Even Electro could do well.

Just hope they do it well.

We always thought that if the old Spider-Man movies continued that the villains would be Kraven and The Lizard. Is any Osborne in the new Spider-Man movie?

Yeah I don't know why they didn't just reboot it from there. Although I guess I can see it as doing it like an Ultimate type universe.

I want to like the new Spiderman movie, it has no Tobey Maguire, which is nice, personally I thought Jake Gyllenhaal would make a good Peter Parker. As for villians, They could of cast "the russian" from Punisher to be Tombstone, Venom could be Brock Lesnar with a voice over for him. Whoever played J Jonna Jamieson should be back he was a dead on look a like from the comics/cartoons.

JGL is a fantastic actor. I would love to see him in a villainous role. Maybe The Vulture?

Kraven is a must. Maybe throw in another animal themed villain like Rhino. Kraven hunts Rhino during which Spidey gets involved and Kraven starts hunting Spider-Man.

I hope they change the suit to something more traditional in the sequel though. I really don't like it. So far though I like everything else I've seen about the new movie.

I wonder if they would do Doc Ock again, and if so, who would play him?
