I remember reading awhile back about a possible Silverhawks coming by the same people who brought us back the Thundercats.

Well, earlier this week we got a glimpse of the new Thundercats episode in which it appears that The Silverhawks and Tigersharks are within the same universe as these new Thundercats.

I'm sure, just like with the present show, they will give their own twist to the story but, to be honest, I'm actually lookin forward to it.

Many are biased towards the new Thudercats show and it's wither a hit or miss.
I'm anxious to see their twist on how the Silverhawks came about.
As a child I was always curious about this and I think these folks are giving us answers to questions we never actually got in the old series.

I had this conversation with my old man the other day and he expressed that that is what made all these old 80's show's so great. They left alot to the imagination and today these folks are ruining it by giving their own rendition of what they thought and setting it in stone to some degree by creating a show to confuse millions. lol

Any thoughts?
Who knows, if Thundercats is a success, maybe we'll get more than one season/ 26 episodes of Tigersharks?!?

It was my understanding that Silverhawks and Tigersharks would make appearances in the new Thundercats show. But you make it sound like the Tigersharks are getting their own new show. Did I miss something?

And I've enjoyed the new Thundercats show so far. Didn't really care for the leaf people episode but overall I think they've done a great job.

I'm really enjoying the new Thundercats show and I'm curious to see how the Silverhawks play into it. I'd love it if this cameo creates a spin-off for the bird-themed heroes. It would be nice to see another 80's property get a kick-ass show on the air.

Not so sure about Tigersharks tho. I'm having trouble remembering them at all. I do remember Street Sharks and I think one of them was a tiger shark.

I haven't heard anything about either property getting a new show. I think he's merely speculating, as am I.

I enjoyed the Petalers episode for one reason: it provided character development for Lion-O. It's too early to see if this gets ignored in future episodes, but I hope it comes back later (especially since the show likes flashbacks, even in the same ep). Each episode's theme (aside from the season arc) since they left Thundera seems to revolve around life lessons for Lion-O and what it means to truly lead. I consider it on-the-job training

The leaf people episode had some plot holes, but it was a great episode!

Thanks "FirmPulse"
And although it's wishful thinking for these spin-offs,... I did read an article where one of the voice actors was being interviewed and someone asked about a Silverhawks spin-off and he stated, "You'll just have to wait and see..."
I remember reading something else along those lines sometime further back but I am going to have to go and find the articles for yall I guess.

BTW, I have never read anything stating a new show for Tigersharks. (That was just a pipe dream hoping to happen.) Silverhawks will get the nod before they do I bet.

Plot holes? I may have to go back and re-watch that episode because I don't remember any plot holes.

Agreed. Although I wouldn't say no to new toys of Bluegrass and Buzz-Saw.
