As opposed to selling out right from the start?

With Bono, as with any celebrity, it's best to enjoy their one talent and ignore them as people.
Kinda the opposite of politics- the joy there is in keeping track of their corruptions, sellouts and crimes...it's like fantasy football in a way.

They made Tom too tall. Come ON Hasbro! Give us a height accurate Tom Cruise! They guy isn't even 6' tall! He should NOT be taller than Thor!

Back on track. The auction is still running and they have 6 in stock. So they are going to put up that variant pic and give everyone the reg pack? Seems like they have a few negatives comming there way for anyone who actually buys this set. Bait & switch me thinks.

I have a 100% translucent Invisible Woman figure. The only problem is she's also 100% intangible and a figment of my imagination

Too bad they did not make both her hegs and midsection completely clear- then we could do a nice fade to color...

Weird that the pin in her thigh is clear...

BUT

I bet this would be great if they did it with the Future Foundatiion set instead- that way the translucent parts would work with the grey-ish costume.

Weird how this is only said for certain threads...anyway, I've contacted the seller through email on eBay (not sure why noone did this earlier, guess it would have taken away from unnecessary discussion) and the seller said they used the wrong picture that was given to them and they are selling the future foundation set.

I can only read so many threads a day.

But thanks for getting confirmation that the pic is wrong. Wonder if they'll even bother changing it now, since it's generated so much buzz and free advertising for them?

Arent there others mods and arent certain mods responsible for certain sections of the forum or is that not the mod responsiblity around here?

No problem on finding the info, I thought it was rather pointless for there to be discussion without finding out directly if this was true although someone did point out that they went to the shop and verified that this was incorrect but that seemed to go ignored.

hey guys,

as i was surfing the web with all the news and pics of the nycc, i came across this quote and i'm also posting the web page so you know where i got it from.

"Oh and two tid-bits of info regarding Marvel Universe variants. The Fantastic Four boxset with a half translucent Invisible Woman does exist and the Hasbro reps I spoke with today said they were not aware of any Darkhawk variant existing."

Well they have already been wrong about the Darkhawk variant. This could also be wrong.

Dear toynk,

Hi There,

Quick question about item. Looking to purchase, BUT is the Invisible Woman pictured in the listing semi-transparent the same figure which is for sale? Or is it a stock photo? Please inform. Thanks!!
