This is Petey...



Named after Peter Parker in the black suit. I took this photo on Sunday the 15th of Sept. 2 days later, I found him collapsed behind the couch in his own sick.

He's at the hospital now fighting for his life, with a 50/50 chance. Dr says he is suffering from a blood infection.

Please keep my little guy in your thoughts and prayers if you pray.

around 12pm, est, Petey went to sleep. He was 3 and a half years old. He was the best friend I ever had, a true companion. we would go on car trips, he would snatch toys off of my head. He was a little scamp.

Louis C.K. said that owning a dog is a countdown to sorrow. he never mentioned it could be a timebomb that hits way too early. I am going to miss him, but I would never trade the years we spent together to not feel this pain. Hug your pets, hug your children, hug your family. I know I'll be hugging mine.

My sincerest condolences.

I too know what it's like to lose a beloved pet. I had to have my cat put down after he developed diabetes and both kidneys failed him. It's been 20 years and I still miss him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It goes without saying that pets become an instant part of the family and losing one is just as painful as losing anyone else. My condolences go out to you.
