Ugh, I am un able to find any of the Wallmart Marvel Universe Gigantic Battles exclusives. I have tried a few Wallmarts in my area and they dont have them and there is no place for them on the shelves. They do not have them listed on the site and the only place that seems to have them is ebay. Why does Hasbro keep giving Wallmart exclusives when they dont stock them very well? Anyone else having trouble finding store exclusives?

I feel your pain, I have no car, so hunting is limited to me to when I can afford a cab or walk the couple miles... there's only 1 walmart near me within walking distance, any time I've been there lately there's been nothing but thor, peg warming Iron man and tron toys... very few- non Marvel universe, but mind you if they ever did get them here the store may get only 2-4, and a scalper would easily buy them up. I wonder if we ask an employee the serial # if they could order them direct.

The exclusives I really hate, are TRU, Target, and Kmart.
The only TRU around is utter crap, and never carries anything relevent. There's also only one Target within a reasonable drive, and *if* they actually get an exclusive (Which is rare), then it sells out almost immidiately.
As for Kmart, They pulled out of the North Texas area. There's not one within five hours or more of me.

Walmart however, I can hit 7 within an hour, if I so chose. I generally don't have much difficulty finding things there. (Gas prices prohibit such a hunt now, though)

The ones I hate are the online subscription and Comiccon excluives- that's just saying to everyone without deep pockets "youre screwed".

When I Lived in Denton, Me and my (ex)Girlfriend used to hunt down Star Wars toys late night at Wal Mart's because of how many there were in such a short stretch.

Joys of living in Montreal, Quebec. We don't get any store exclusives. No Toys R Us exclusives, No Wal-Mart exclusives, No Taget exclusives (Don't even have a target!). From my understanding, with the tough language laws and how packages have to have french on them, those stores don't carry them because they are only produced in ENGLISH... So hunting them down has to be done all on eBay, which will cost me x2, x3, x5, x10 the price of it in retail... I wouldn't get them if I was such a completist... arg

I Frickin HATE Store Exclusives. I freak out and tend to spend a bit on ebay for these cause I am always paranoid scalpers will get to them or the quanitity will be smaller. I'd much prefer Hasbro give us More Waves and Comic Waves and make boxed sets spread out through stores, than deal with exclusives.

Done that with Transformers many times! That used to be a stress relief after work for me, just make a big circle through Seagoville (Starting point), Terrell, Forney, Mesquite, Garland, and Balch Springs, which would lead me back home to Seagoville again.

Well... I must say I'm the one that probably hates them the most so far, I don't live in the States so for exclusives I need to make use of ebay and those sort of sites, so with scalpers pricing, s/h to Miami and then to my country, I can easily end up paying lik 90 bucks for a 25 buck figure.
I wish at least they could place their stuff on their websites, like TRU makes sometimes but always restricting the number of figures per customer.

We should start an exclusives thread like they do at TFW. When the WM MP Skywarp came out there was a thread to help people get the exclusives for the cost of the toy plus shipping. It was the ONLY reason I was able to get one without paying a huge mark up on ebay.

I hate Hasbro SDCC, and GIJoe Collectors Club exclusives. MasterCollector, the GIJCC and the TFCC are so lame. The only thing they're good for is making expensive holes in your collection.

Most store exclusive I can deal with. The hardest store to get exclusives is Wal-Mart because they're open 24 hours. They can put them out and sell them at any time.

Oh I so hate store exclusives.

The only place in a reasonable driving distance is a Wal-Mart so it's a 40 mile gamble to any other place and 40 miles back home on the off chance I could get lucky to find any other store exclusives. Ouch and if it's something scalpers have heard of I might as well just burn that gas in the front yard for all the good it would do to search.

Just a pain in the old rear end because you can't buy them online from the retailer or if it's a con exclusive the price is so high to put it out of what I'd sanely pay for an action figure.

Tough enough to be a Marvel, GI Joe, or Transformers fan without Hasbro putting even more stumbling blocks in the way of toy collecting being a fun easy hobby to take the edge off of your bad days.

I've never picked up a store exclusive. I bought the Giant-Man Skrull/Bucky Cap only for Bucky Cap, which I swapped out with Ultimate Cap after getting the SDCC 616 Cap. I saw the Frost Giant/Loki and Goliath/Clone Thor earlier today, but none of them really amazed me to the point that I'd throw down almost $30 for each one. Also, I'm not a fan of the retired mold on the TRU Soldier pack store exclusive. Maybe if I happen to see something on clearance one day I'll pick it up, but I don't seek them out.
