The exclusives should be mail-away figures requiring UPC proof of purchase of several figs to qualify. Keeps it among the real fans that way!

I haven't seen the Frost Giant pack yet either. I've seen the other,.. twice, but no interest in that one.

That would be nice. Or at least have it be an option if they still want to carry in stores.

I don't mind store exclusives if the store makes it available online. Hasbro should make that mandatory.

The whole point of the Exclusive is to get you to go into the store.

I prefer a Walmart exclusive to a TRU exclusive just based on the availability of locations.

It's a nice idea, but when I was a little kid I mailed in UPCs for an exclusive GI Joe and never received a damn thing, and a while back I submitted for the SW Boba Fett mail away and never received that either. It is just another way for Hasbro to get us to buy more figures without actually fulfilling their promotional offers.

I think they should do a upc type mail out system for a free exclusive figure or set, or better yet have a special barcode on the case file cards, log onto the site and submit, once you've submited the entire wave #'s u get a free figure or after x amount of figures bought your entitled to 1, and just pay shipping. and by paying shipping your given a tracking number.. Now that's a system! I like the idea of exclusives in the sence they're limited edition, less people will have them, typically are higher in detail and quality. The downside is the hunt, either don't and pay scalper prices online, or hunt in the hopes of finding it and get nowhere and spend a ton on gas in the process. I never found the giantman/ skrull packs, and the IM2 figure with Tony headsculpt, has/is still aluding me. I found the war machine, suitcase armour and regular iron man around the time of the $$, same with the IM first series.. I missed out on the concept armours, the walmart exclusives stealth and silver centrium version. Anybody have an extra IM2 figure with the headsculpt of tony with the glasses, they'd want to sell? I think exclusives are good if you can get your hands on them, if not it's a pain, a hassle, and a hurt to the bank acct.

I don't know I think an exclusive on a web site could be worked around where it works just as well for the retailer.

Web sales are starting to pick up as some people don't want to fight the crowds around a holiday so getting people used to going to your site over the competitors wouldn't be bad for the store wanting the online edge. As gas prices go up and people start cutting trips it might not be a bad idea to try to be the web site people want to shop at.

Or if you say had a deal where you buy "x" amount and get free shipping then the exclusive lures the customer to your site and they buy a bunch of other non-exclusives to get that coveted free shipping or other deal you are offering up.

The Mark IV is everywhere around here, chilling on the pegs with the MK V's. My MK IV is currently on my desk at work, getting directions from MK VI on where War Machine took off to (top of my desk cabinet).

Online store from TRU and Walmart are very sketch in their availability. Most of the "good" stuff they have online only last a week maybe less.

UPC exclusive are a pain...personally....I have to collect ALL required upc? (example george lucas and boba fett mail away)....that means ill pay more for garbage.

I was able to get everything but the version that came with the Tony Headsculpt with glasses the Mark IV, if anybody can get me 1 I'd glady buy it, using paypal or email transfer, Also the new Iron man armoured avengers Crymsion dynamo, the new 6'' war machine and stealth Iron man.. all wanted figures.. but seriously either that wave came and went or never hit here.

Oh man I remember having to order things through ebay because no target exclusives & wal mart exclusives are really available. TRU gets them often but it would be nice if they were more widely available

I don't even have a TRU near me, only option for them is the online store, or the very very rare time I go over to another province.

I love store exclusives. Hearing all the people whinnying about how they can't find them brings pleasant chuckles.
