It's called patience or pre-order. I bet money that the avenger's box set will probably sell for $100 around the time the movie rolls out on ebay from scalpers who raped the stores clean or bought 10 preorders. The best advice is if you have the means and budget to afford buying online,preorder,or order like normal then do so.The new wave is nice but not $30/figure nice, I'll wait to either see them in store or get around to ordering.

Apocalypse is $30 nice if I miss out on him otherwise. I haven't done ebay in a long time but I'm considering just that one figure. Maybe I should just pre-order a case from one of the more straightforward online retailers, at least that cuts it down to about $20-$25 a figure.....GAH. Maybe I SHOULD just get the Apocalypse on ebay and just chance it with the rest of the characters at retail.

If only retail were more reliable. As much as I love my collecting obsession sometimes I hate it too.

After dropping $80 apiece on Variant Vision, Warpath, Daredevil and Ms. Marvel only to find them a month later at TRU and Target for 1/10th the price? It can wait.

yeah better it will we wait for now, since all the same if you get faster or not. Now it happens too with MU gigantic battle series too, each walmart now only have 4-5pcs of them. just waiting them to restock and we dont need spend lot of money with that scalpers

Folks have been saying these have already been spotted at TRUs on the West Coast. Soon enough they'll be everywhere. Disco...I think you were the one who got me started on the hunt for the Gigantic Battles! And boom within a week I found it.

Yeah but that Wolverine has a great looking headsculpt and his body os a perfect generic to customize.

But DAMN that Silver Samuri is going to rock next to my custom Viper!

I'm in that boat too. Task Master is all I want. Though that DP is nicer than the one I already have.

I'm just happy that Taskmaster is getting put into production, the character is a classic, and the detail is beyond awesome.
