Anyone got a link to the 3.75" line of Armored Avenger figs? I saw a couple of repaints on the Hasbro site but no new sculpts. Are they making a 3.75" modern Crimson Dynamo?

I recieved the AWESOME Concept Hammer drone today in the post- it's 95% repaint but that helmet head and the gold/silver paintjob looks great: the online pics make it look green and silver.

And that's from the "Armored Avenger" line according to the card- I did not know. Looks like the IM2 line is continuing under this title- rockout.

My roommmate scored me a Mandarin for $17 (plus $4 shipping) off ebay this past weekend- I'll do cartwheels once he's in-hand.
I dont kow anyone in south Florida with a Mandarin or masked Whiplash yet.
Those just never came out here- probably because everyone had a ton of IM2 figures clogging all the pegs for months.

Hell, I had to buy all my Hammer drones online....and now the green ones have been modded into HYDRA Drones (pics to follow).

Holy shit, boys, get this month's issue! New armor, it's sleek, and has incredible new features- really setting it apart from Iron Man's armor- invisibity, intagibility (not at the same time though), total scanner invisibility so nothing can target or track him and it looks incredibly, impossibly badass!

Thanks for that cupon code- I'm of to try it now!

God I hate that new armor.. Same goes for Iron Man's new one.. They're just ugly

I find that each new armor -the ones that are distinctive and memorable- take some getting used to.

I recall (old man voice) the uproar over the Silver Centurian armor (my personal fav) because of the shoulders and it being well, silver.

Then people hated the modular and telepresence armors because they had no mouths.
Then EVERYONE hated the War Machine armor- myself included. It seemed like Tony had betrayed his "not making weapons anymore" ideal untill it was revealed that he'd made the armor specificlly with Jim in mind.

Everyone hated the first Hulkbuster and I loathe the WWH version- love me some JrJr but he cant design an armor to save his life.

You'll come aound...we all do once we see how badass the armors are in action!

Anyway, here's a pic of the Armored Avenger line:
http://i.marvelousnews.com/g/index.p...ze=800&start=0
Repaints with new accesories....at best we'll see a nice mandarin variant in the future- that would make my day.
I doubt I'll pick up the rest of these though.

So, you guys remember the Batman line from back in the day, the one with like four villains and ten thousand ludicrous variations of Batman? Well there you go.

lets keep this on the original subject but to put your comment to rest remember two things first Iron man is known for his hall of armor and having an armor or variation for any occasion and two there are more villains coming just give it a chance we saw for one the final battle movie armor whiplash.

Now lets please keep this topic on point

The Silver Centurion armor is probably in my top 2 favorites of all time. I agree that JRjr can't draw armor. His art in Avengers is pretty damn painful and keeps me from enjoying the story too much. That Hulkbuster looks really good in the Iron Man tie ins to WWH. They made a SHS figure of it. I think it would be cool to see a figure get made of it (see how i keep it on topic?). I don't see me coming around to the new armors any time soon. Especially since Larroca is drawing the main Iron Man series and I really dislike his art. I also feel like War Machine is a character that is better when you can actually see him in motion and not on paper. Seeing and hearing all the guns blazing makes for a visual treat and it isn't the same on paper.

Don't want to sound like I just bash artists so I'll say that I really like Jim Cheung's Iron Man. He did a real great job in the Illuminati issues. I liked Oliver Copiel's take on it too in Thor #3.

I haven't seen the new 3.75" figures at all, the only ones at stores near me are Classic Iron Man, Neo-Classic, the movie Armors, Guardsmen, Dynamo, and T-Man. I've never seen Comic Monger Comic Whiplash, Mandarin, Silver Centurion Iron Man.. Basically nothing good. I've seen 6" but even then it was just the a bunch of Mark VI and T-Man once. I grabbed T-Man quickly, now I'm gonna be keeping an eye out for Dynamo and Initiative War Machine. I really hope Hasbro keeps up the 6" line after this wave.

Jim Cheung is going to be here on my birthday (July 4th) and I hope to get a nice secret Warriors piece from him to frame...a sketch if nothing else!

I wish I'd have known a few months back that the Iron Monger comic version would be hard to get- we had a bunch of those for the longest and it was, ironicly, the movie version that I did not find untill later.

Aside from the blue repaint and the Concept hammer drone (which I bought for retail off Amazon!), I have not seen any of that line.
the big version figures are indeed a TRS only thing it seems- I just saw most of the first wave (T-Man, IM, WM, IMHB) at my local TRS, but at $17.99 each, I passed. We can find them much cheaper online, certainly.

I did however score a Crimson Dynamo from the crappy animated series- it looks exactly squat like any Cd armor so I've got my work cut out for me, but at $5 each on clearance, I figured (no pun intended) I'd give it a shot.

Then I went to a local Target and they had only the usual suspects of MU and only a couple of IM2 figs...but I found a clearance "Geonosis arena battle" 2-pack for $6 that rocks! The black Jedi dude's head will go onto a SHIELD soldier body (with a new gun)- transforming a crappy figure into an awesome one without ever openng up the paint box!

Yo know,,,,this guy could easily make for a good Rhodey head!
Gotta test that out and post pics...

I've seen those figures for pretty much double online, and HTS sells them for $10.99 but shipping is $7 so it's the same thing. It's just convenient not having to leave the house.

This is my current custom project.

I've never made a custom before so i figured it'd be easy enough.. BUt finding a base figure in 6" scale has been tough. So I picked up a Mutt Williams from the Indy Line to do a test run with and practice painting and what not.

That Animated Series has decent action scenes, but that's about it. I really hated they're Dynamo design.. But I loved their design for the Ghost.

I don't bother with concept things.. That's not an official Hulkbuster from comic or film so I wasn't gonna pay $17.99 on him. The design isn't horrible, but I think he's too slim

I've seen a custom actually of parts from Hulkbuster and the Red and Gold Iron Monger from the first film that looks really cool actually, and was closer to what I think a movie Hulkbuster would look
