Today, I got myself a BL Mr Freeze figure, and he looks badass! Minus the pink... It is easy enough to paint over the paint with a grey or blue or something, HOWEVER, his helmet is pink! So my question is, what/how do I paint his clear, pink helmet blue, but still be transparent. Thanks!

Use a watered down clear blue acrylic paint. That might work. I'm afraid the blue might come out too dark though.

Dude, dilute some blue ink wash. If you can remove that part, leave it in the diluted ink wash for a few hours.

depending on how the pink was added ie dyed, painted, or made that way, you could just try using a good strong paint remover, varathane type product and just let it soak for a few hrs, it could make it could come out crystal clear!

Once the paint is stripped, you could soak it in a very fine paint or ink wash to dye it, or if you want a bit more fancy look you can buy glow in the dark paint, frost paint to make it look like snow, magnetic paint to make it come off and on easy, crackle paint to give it a weathered look, or mirror/chrome paint for a shiny tint look. My local homehardware sells crackle, glow in the dark,magnetic,chrome/mirror paint, chaulkboard paint, etc... just some ideas.

Chrome/mirror is cheap around $9 for the spraypaint type, chaulboard, magnetic and glow in the dark are more pricey round 20-30 range, as it's about a pint of paint, which if you do any custom work will last you a long time and many a projects. The crackle finish stuff is a bit more pricey or atleast can be, as sometime it's a 2-3 part system, same with the paint you can find to turn items into stone/rock texture, or the camoflauge type system. Another avenue to try would be to hit up an art store like Michael's and look at the window/glass paints typically they're a vibrant color but dry translucent enough for light to shine through.

I just painted the pink grey, and the tubes blue for now. May do more detailing on the white but right now it's trying to deal with that damn helmet lol

I have always wanted a Mr Freeze figure, so I had to. Do know that it has a silly gimmick that when you twist his waist it turns his head. Isn't a bad thing really but I wish they would of made that helmet easier to remove, the jerks

Also, with the DC Superheroes version, his gun was an actual water gun. Seeing this is using the exactly the same build, you would think that it would also have the water gun! Sadly he does not, it was like they went out of their way to make sure it DOESN'T squirt water, silly, silly Mattel.

If you can still find the cheap no-articulated-knees/elbows freeze you could use his freeze bubble. Tamiya clear blue would be my choice to tint any clear/metallic plastic with.
