Oh great, more lazy trash from DC Collectibles.

Between this company and Warner Brothers it's really hard being a DC fan these days...

Oh my god, I hate it. I can't even enjoy their old comics anymore because they keep canceling their omnibuses.

Frank Cho remembered Poison Ivy was sexy and not some green skinned trash.

DC zombies are goofy looking. I'm over zombies. They need to die and stay dead.

I don't understand how Batman Who Laughs even sees.

How is any of this considered lazy or trash?

It's a visor.

If Catwoman didn't have the shading and was part of the regular BTAS collection, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Probably because it doesn't have big sideburns and claws or have 'pool at the end of its name.

Do I really have to explain why any solicitation from DCC is lazy?

Fine. Repainted figures turned into zombies and DCAU figures that, surprising no one, are all about Batman. Two of which have already been released TWICE and both times had accessories & stands, and two of which have nothing to do with DCAU despite having a massive catalog of characters that do.

In my opinion this is trash. Satisfied?

What a stupid comment. Did you seriously just turn this into a DC vs. Marvel thing?

Yeah, for a company with as rich a history of characters that DC has it's a real shame to see that most of their output is Batman-centric. And the zombie stuff laughably shows how out of touch they are. Do people still care about zombies? How long ago were those Marvel zombies covers a thing?

Wow. I can’t believe the comments in here. I think ever poster fought with another. Passion! Lol.

Anyway. I’ll be getting Selina. The other animated I’m torn. I’m kind of out of space in that area.

Thank you. It's 2020. The zombie craze has come and gone. And if Hasbro can produce a box set of D-List Canadian X-Men DCC can expand outside of the Batman Family. Regardless of what you think of the MCU it's proof that you can get secondary characters over.

I'm just flabbergasted by folks who think this company is doing a good job. Maybe if you only like Batman. Fair enough though, you like 'em then you like 'em.

But making this about DC vs. Marvel is flat out stupid.

First, the zombie thing…DCeased is a successful comic book from 2019. With a sequel coming this year, 2020. Yeah, maybe zombies "are so yesterday", but the book sold incredibly well, so I have no problem with them making those figures.

The DC vs Marvel thing…Maybe I was a bit quick to snap that off. Every day, on every forum, on every site, I see frothing Marvel/ Hasbro geeks raving about how awesome their toys are, yet they crap all over DC Essentials for using the same bodies or making the same characters. I'm no expert, but it seems to me that Hasbro has made about 1,000 figures using 3 different bodies, and a third of those have been of the same 4 or 5 characters. So, in any case, I apologize for making a rash statement, if it wasn't warranted in the conversation. But, I would stand behind my statement had it been in topic.

Ok, basically, Zombies Bad and Batman ugh...

But yeah, DC has a lot of characters and storylines, and they always go for the same... A shame, but please, keep Marvel out of this....

One of these days I'm going to visit Toronto just so I can piss on George Romero's grave.

I didn't want to make a new post in the news and rumors section since we don't have any official details but DC Collectibles just changed the name on their Facebook page to DC Direct. Could they be returning to their old name? Are they celebrating some sort of anniversary with some nostalgia? Hopefully this will be addressed during Toy Fair this weekend.
