Working on this series of books. They are hard to get because those who have don't want to give them up so I am doing it on-line and when I go to Baltimore Comic Con. Anyone else looking for these books?

My set so far
7, 8, 19, 33, 38, 43, 49, 52, 54, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 69, 72, 75, 76, 97. I have 88 but it is second printing.

Really? That sounds cool. 70 and 71 are one the big list and I might be getting them this month.

Yeah- Thomas really reconcilled the old 1940's Timely Captain America, Sub Mariner and Human Torch stories into the mainstream MU contunity- flippin brilliant!

Then he went on to write the entire Invaders series, which ran a few years, IIRC.

Every single WWII Marvel flashback is a result of that one issue.

..and there are a LOT of them!

J/K ... Most of them are pretty fun stories. Im liking "Captain America and Bucky". Im less into the stylized art than a lot of people seem to be though.

Yeah...Brubaker is living in the past...every damn run he does has the same formula-
"A mysterious threat from Cap's past returns to destroy him! What is the secret from WWII that could blah blah blah..."
Guest starring all the other octogenerians that never age in Marvel, fighting the same battles and bozos...monthly from Marvel!
