wow, just wow. And I'm not talking about the price, I'm talking about how silly the explanation is that your friend gave. Let me see if I can break this down:

Your friend "changed the clock to 1/6." So...

1. Your friend must have a magic computer that when he changes the date on his PERSONAL computer it will automatically override the CORE game system set forth by Playdom. If all you have to do is change your computer clock, then everyone would do that just to get ahead in the game with any new release or to skip to the end of any pvp season with a good rating.

2. "He changed the date to 1/6," which I'm guessing means January 6th? The current PvP Season ends on January 7th, so I doubt they will release the previous season's award the day before (which is a Sunday by the way). Also from experience, Deadpool was released almost a week after season 2 ended.

3. If any of this was true, there would be a screen shot.

4. If Deadpool was not that much, with one of the highest popularities, then there is no way Cable would be.

So in closing, and without sounding like a ass, you my friend are very gullible.

I was going to mention something about how computers and websites don't work like that, but rushfx beat me to it.

Cable will probably be at most 135 CP when released to the public, just like Deadpool. And just like DP, I see the price fluctuating for no apparent reason but never going above 135.

Actually should be Monday afternoon is when both ends, which is kind of crap if you want to either win the items in PVP or get the exp and stars from the special ops.

Only for certain people and with no particular rhyme or reason behind it. A few Arkers got him for 90 or somewhere in between 90 and 135, if memory serves. If you dig back in this thread, it's mentioned a couple of times. Every time I've checked, Deadpool is always listed at 135 CP to recruit. And until he drops to 90 permanently, I'm not spending a dime on him - digital or otherwise.

It's also possible that Playdom fixed whatever bug was causing it and we won't see it when Cable gets released.

If Cable is 135 ... I guess I will try to get him. Currently I have enough for Thor and his Alt blaster suit, Caps WW2 suit and Id have 52 gold left over (after tournaments end) so Id need to get 31 cp. Not too bad

When you get alternate suits, do those permanently replace the original one? Do they start at level one with the new suit and you have to level them again?

I spent the CP for deadpool. But I'm not spending more than 90 for Cable. It's hard enough to get CP. if they made it where say you did the challenge mode and could 5 star them again and get only CP that would be cool. But they are so stingy with gold and CP it's crazy.

And yes I've bought Facebook cards for gold, but it was only with money I got for selling things. So I had cash and nothing else really to buy.

Yup like Trebs said price fluctuation, and actually my nephew when DP first came out it was 112 for him, then it jumped to 135 recently so he was pissed that they did that.

You get to keep the original suit but you have to add ISO's to the new one which kind of sucks.

It would be awesome if they did an X-Force special ops one, and released the X-Force costumes for Storm, DP and Wolvy.

And to add to what Exodus said, your character keeps the same exp. level regardless of the outfit and you also get to switch back and forth between the alternate suits (and hero type, if you decide to get one that's different from his/her base type). But the ISO thing is a bit annoying sometimes (and potentially expensive, if you want to max the new suit out as well).

For example, I have both the Blaster and Bruiser versions of Annihilation Human Torch, so I can switch him between the two depending on the opponents and still keep my bonuses from the suit and partnering with the FF versions of Sue, Ben, Reed and Peter.

The ISO part is a good thing because you may want different stats for different classes. I know I focus on attack and a little accuracy for scrappers and pretty much ignore other stats. On bruisers, I'm more hp, accuracy, and sometimes defense oriented. Obviously not the same for all characters.

OMG!!!! I hit 1000 iso on the roulette today. They would have been more of a benefit a few weeks ago. Ah well at least now I can 5 star the third mission before its over. I didn't think I was gonna.

Funny, I hit the 100 u-iso as well. First time I'd ever done that on any spec ops. Gonna farm for weapons until it's over.

Wow, went to bed on the PVP with a ranking of 1694. Woke up and broke my record for biggest drop...320 points overnight. I guess the last minute rush to attempt Psylocke is in full swing.

I love how I've fought 235 battles...legitimately lost 4 (though I'd guess another 30-40 were lost due to the refresh error before I discovered the ladder button trick). Yet even with a 98% win rate on attack...I can lose 100% of all my fights on defense. WTF?

Ya I came back to -100 but at least I'm still below 1% which is good enough for me to be able to get in A league without having to grind real hard, assuming I win every match though.
