You can do any hero deploy. Even if it's a regular mission. I wanted to finish my reg mission before I got into the special and it counted as the hero deploy

Oh yeah, that' true for the objective. I forgot. I was just think of the ones you particularly need for certain hero deploys (which like I said weren't worth it). I only saw one weapon I hadn't seen before which I would probably not even get in the 9 box and waste 10 ISO-8 on.

Looks like you have to go the task route to unlock Frost. 5-starring the missions will not do it. Playdom's ridiculous game decisions never cease to amaze me.

just a heads up. for one objective you have to upgrade the Mindbreaker gun (that you get after 10 objectives) to Mindkiller. Takes a day and a half and EIGHTY iso-8

10.Uncanny X-Men: Take 2 X-Men into battle. Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Storm and Emma Frost are all members. Reward: Mindbreaker (Research)
11.Mind Games: Upgrade Mindbreaker to Mindkiller in the Lab. The Mindkiller can be researched after acquiring the Mindbreaker.
12.Rook, Knight, Bishop: Complete 3 Deploys
13.More Human Than Human: Defeat Omega Sentinel. She is the Boss of Mission 2
14.EMP-ulsive Actions: Use 5 EMP Grenades in combat. EMP Grenades can be purchased from the store after researching them.
15.Council of the Chosen: Get 2 stars of mastery in Mission 2. Reward: Skullsplitter (Research)
16.Skull and Crossbones: Upgrade Skullsplitter to Skullripper in the Lab. The Skullripper can be researched after acquiring the Skullsplitter.
17.Immoral Acts: Defeat 10 Beta level test subjects. They can be found in Mission 3.
18.Brain Freeze: Use Emma Frost's Psychic Tap ability three times. Emma Frost is a Team-Up in several boss fights.
19.Astonishing X-Men: Take 5 X-Men into battle. Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Storm and Emma Frost are all members.
20.Headmistress Frost: Use Emma Frost's Unlock Potential ability three times. Reward: The Rook
21.Danger Room: Complete 3 PVP battles. PVP requires completing Chapter 1 Mission 4 of Story Mode.
22.Unstoppable Force: Defeat Juggernaut. He is the Boss of Mission 3.
23.Intrusive Thoughts: Use Emma Frost's Mental Trauma ability three times. Emma Frost is a Team-Up in several boss fights.
24.The Inner Circle: Complete 3 stars of mastery in all 3 Spec Ops missions.
25.Checkmate: Defeat Mystique. She is an Epic Boss in Mission 3. Reward: Emma Frost!

Also, I didn't know this, but the next nine heroes that will be added have already been revealed as well as the next new costumes and what not, of course we know now that Emma Frost and Rogue are two of them, the rest are...

I am devastated that Namor will not be a part of it. It does not make any sense to do AvX storyline without Namor, I also heard rumors that the fifth member is actually the Agent (your character). UGH

oh, exodus, for hero deployment I know BP and Mr. Fantastic are 2 of them but forgot the other one. Also remember Storm and Nightcrawler for mission 2. There aren't too many things worth wasting ISO-8 on deploying though.

One tip I can give is to NOT play Spec Ops while you are waiting for research related tasks. You are just wasting U-ISO. Play normal missions to use up your energy.

I'm pretty sure you have to use different ones. It's the reason a lot of people are complaining.

In the last task, you absolutely need to have recruited Colossus, Phoenix, and Scarlet Witch, or else you have to pay 50 gold (I think) to skip it.

works pretty well. I don't see a lot of crits against muties but still decent firepower and it takes a second shot pretty often

crap, I was wondering about that last step who we needed for the epic boss fight. I do have Colossus and SW now and was gonna get Phoenix until you told me otherwise but now looks like I'll have to. Ugh.

You don't need to recruit them, just use them in the team ups!

Just replay mission two (you team up with Shadowcat, Phoenix and Nightcrawler)

There's also MANY Emma Frost team ups too. Those should count towards the task. I don't know about this last task though.

Yup. I feel incredibly bad for new players, I remember when I was struggling SO much during Mockingbird (which I didn't get) because i was fairly new and didnt have resources saved up or many allies...it was very disheartening, I can only imagine how the new players now feel. Especially the part about needing Scarlet Witch to deploy.
