Well I lost 87 rating overnight.. wowwwwww I hate this sometimes. You shouldn't lose rating for a computer playing for you and making stupid decisions. So dumb.

I sort of agree. I think you should lose half points for defending and full points for attacking and losing.

I wish I had been able to get MB, but I missed out on the Spec Ops to get her. Similar issue for me regarding Emma. Thankfully I was able to get Magik without issue.

Hopefully they don't start the next Spec Op. until after I've had a chance to rebuild my CP and Gold stash some more.

Annihilation Human Torch. Even if you don't get the other FF costumes for Sue and Ben, AHT is totally worth the CP on his own due to all the extra passives he gets. Plus you can pick between Bruiser or Blaster to mix up your PvP/in-game strategies.

Really? Mine is stuck on lvl 1 until Magik finishes training, but so far he's been great with just his 1 attack (heh). Even stronger than my level 12 bruiser alt costume Ms Marvel, and she at least is decked out in ISOs. I also like that I'm not going to waste any ISO boosts on stamina with him. His passive seems to kick in very often.

Oh, just didn't get the acronym, I have AHT, but he doesn't do much for me in pvp.. yet when I fight one they are nuts. I think I'm starting to hate this game.. was 900th when I went to bed, now I'm 3000th...

I've been demoted to gold lol. I'm not actively playing though. It's way early to try super hard. Only thing I'm doing is the minimal battles for each rank. After that I'll try harder for the actual pvp rank

I use him to crush SW (if I can hit her early) and also to set up my Phoenix Pinion and Fireball attacks. Also, I seem to get Cosmic Control Rod to pop up fairly often (definitely more than my Golden Tonfa counter).

I still maintain SW is over-powered and broken. Probability Field should randomly pass out buffs and debuffs to EVERYONE. Chaos shield I can deal with since one weak hit clears it away for a follow-up to hit properly.

F Mockingbird so hard. Constantly I try to quickly kill her first and have the perfect setup to do it, but instead she immedaitely gets a free turn when I hit her and 1 shots whoever she wants with mocking blow. How does mocking blow ALWAYS do 5k dmg and 1 shot kill someone? Good god I wish I had gotten her.. it's so ridiculous.

Generalist outfit is a must. I haven't tried Rogue, but I feel that she would be helpful against MB. Your 3rd character (Emma?) will have to lay off MB in order to not trigger her class changing and extra turns. Emma is also quite durable and can live through a couple MB hits if need be. Emma is also good for stunning someone like Cap or modern Colossus so that they can't guard MB from your other characters. Last good thing about Emma is that if she does force MB to become an infiltrator, you'll still be ok because they have the least powerful class bonus.

Haha I know your pain...lately I've been able to beat her but just barely. And yes I would have spent cash to have acquired her as well but I think it was kind of hard since I just started playing when they put her out.

I'm not even as concerned about the free turns. If you change her class correctly then you can get her vulnerable to other people to finish her off. It's just all it takes is one turn from her to instant kill one person with Mocking Blow. How does it do so much damage? No one else in game has 1 ability that does that much damage without having to build up stacks or whatever. can't believe she hasn't been nerfed for this season of pvp yet.

Really good PVP strat I've discovered: (sorry so long)

So Invisible Woman sucks to use for your AI to play, but she is my secret weapon currently otherwise.

Use Johnny, her, agent.

Use her force cage on your biggest threat or their protector (like cap) right away.

Then blow your whole combo from agent and torch on one target (SW, MB, etc.) Usually always a kill, if not, hold strong, hope your counter attacks finish them on their turn. If they dodged everything.. luck just hates you.. but it happens.

Then continue to use force cage every turn on the same person while you finish off the agent. Usually their agent (or whoever you left out) might kill one of you or get you all really low in hp, which could be scary for once you let Cap free to fight, BUT, it doesn't matter!

Just continue to force cage him every turn until flame on and phoenix weapon health regen gets you both (or just one if one is dead) back to full hp. PLUS you will have the Future is Now up by now! And if Sue gets low on stamina, use your agent's chrono booster (assuming you have it, but it's a must if you're being competitive in pvp at all) to get the extra turn, and on her bonus turn, recharge! You can do this all day until you're back to full everything with all cooldowns up. Then throw up the Sue shields and let cap have his one turn. There's no way he kills you. Then blow everything to try to kill him, if you fail, force cage him back up and regen again! Best part is if you get burning on him from Torch, it still burns him every turn for 3 turns while he is in force cage. I did this to kill Spidey one game cuz he had 20 awareness stacks and it was only way I could hit him. Just let him hit Johnny, get plasma'd and burn, then cage him. Repeat in 3 turns.

90%+ win rate doing this so far. Only drawback is when they all go first and kill agent or Sue before your turns. Plus it sucks because when you quit for the night I have NO team comp that doesn't lose me rating every night.. but at least it keeps me close.

Her force cage has no cooldown? Also, you can reapply force cage on a target that is already in the cage? I thought nothing could affect them.

One idea, as Quinten mentioned, is forcing her class change. The problem is you can't predict the order of your team, that is, unless you run Quicksilver or Cap who (almost) always take the first turn. You can force her to change to bruiser or infiltrator respectively, which any blaster or scrapper will eat up.

Doesn't the force cage prevent you attacking that person you caged though? And what the heck, playing the premium mission in 9, the stare of the abyss is BS. Any tips on getting through that?

No cooldown and yes you can reapply to someone in the cage. I've done this for several days now, so I can guarantee this is true. I could literally cage someone indefinitely if my agent and Sue are both alive. :P

And no, you can't attack person in cage, but that's kind of the point. You don't want to worry about whoever is caged until you kill the other 2 people. You're essentially spending every turn of your Sue taking no action so that way every turn of someone on their team also does nothing. Only thing is, is you get to CHOOSE who doesn't do anything on their team! So this is huge. Add in the fact that reactive shields are being tossed up by Sue from her passive for free and this is amazing. She's like a support team mate. A healer. A passive. Different names from different games, but this is her role and she's better than SW at doing this in my opinion. Only way SW wins out is when the AI plays for you because they don't use Sue correctly.

I believe if you apply yourself or teammates with detox or gene innoculation you won't get stare of the abyss. Detox I think only lasts for one round but try gene innoc.

I would suggest not leaving bruisers in there to tank for you. I've been demolishing Colossuses and bruiser Caps left and right with MB. It only takes 2 (or less) attacks from her to take them out. One will come when I quantum jumper her a turn, and that usually leads to her taking a second turn from class changing after her first attack. That isn't even factoring her first turn of the round. She will always get a minimum of 2 turns in the first round, and maybe more.

MB kills everyone and anyone period. She's broken and hopefully gets fixed.

I agree, but you have a slightly better chance of survival by running tacticians. I'm just telling you guys what I'm experiencing as a MB user.
