also this season starts every ep so far with a "previously on avengers" to give the quick recaps much like the 90's had 4 seasons of "previously on x-men". give kids some damn credit. they're not idiots. if anything i've seen some retain information better than adults.

so yeah again, i really hope this isn't true since it'd be like slamming your d**k in an oven.

Ahhh, I remember that. Cyclops voice saying,"previously on X-men" It was the sat morning cartoon of all time. At least for me.

True noodlechow, kids are pretty smart these days and way more computer savy. Its amazing.

When I heard they moved Loeb into his new TV related position I remember thinking, "good, now he can't ruin the comics anymore"...sigh.

Maybe we'll get a DVD/Blu ray of the complete series when it finishes. All the bells and whistles version

No joke. Just watched US, I rather have them cancel that series than this one. As the saying goes the good die young

Come on man, I loved that as a kid! It aded to the show greatly, if for nothing but atmosphere. It also caught me up when I missed a few episodes, which I did frequently, because having to decide wether to watch Transformers G1, 90's spider man, x-men, reboot, or Mr. Bumpy was a hard choice.

Additionally, I liked wolverine and the x-men, I'm just upset they canceled it before they brought in season 2. Dead pool was suposed to play a pivotal role, I would've greatly enjoyed that.

haha nuts, i was generally responding to what greenskar was saying about loeb not wanting arcs in favor of more stand alone episodic stuff. after reading what i typed just now without that context, it does seem like i'm railing against the recaps when in actuality, i'm reinforcing the idea that if it was good for the marvel kids of the 90's it's good for today, dagnamit. LOL, sorry. When I read that, I instantly thought about when Terry Bogard said something similar when Sulia died in Fatal Fury the Motion Picture. LOL.

So basically, at the end of season 2 when Loeb takes over he's going to kill off 90% of the characters in a disrespectful and unremarkable way, mostly off screen in a mediocre catastrophe. During some piss poor dialogue he will replace them all with hip teenagers with no distinctive personality traits and thus the majority of people watching will have no connection to.

He wants to cancel the series because he wants stand alone episodes instead of story arcs that span multiple episodes. That's the main reason. He said he doesn't want there to ever be a moment when someone turns on the show and feels like they don't know what's going on because they missed the last three episodes.

I officially despise Jeph Loeb more the Quesada.
I absolutely agree. When I was little we had this thing called a VCR, which could record tv shows.. I'm sure we have something better nowadays, catchup tv I presume
Loeb seems to be speaking out of his arse. It beggars belief that they would want to cancel a successful show tried and tested with a devoted fanbase for something untested with no guarantee of making a profit. They should invest in what's already available to make it better, give it a better time slot and they will reap the benefits. It just screams another Loeb self indulgent mess that will ultimately cause a lot of people to switch off, just like he made people do with the Marvel comics he took over. He absolutely RUINED the ultimate universe, and the Hulk comics during his run where unspectacular at best.

QFT. His argument makes no sense. Why do Marvel think he's good for them? He's had little to no positive responses from fans since he has done ultimatum!

I was really enjoying the Ultimate universe until Ultimatum came along and killed all the characters. Bastard ended Ultimate X-Men.

As much as I would like that, I would probably still watch it just cause it's Marvel.

Heck ya, I was so looking forward to Season 2...was a sad day when I heard they weren't going through with it.

Whoa thanks for the reminder, I forgot that he did Ultimatum. No wonder I don't like any of the new Ultimate series after Ultimatum, besides X-Men

Yup same here, and how can you kill Ultimate Wolverine and replace him with a son? Should have been a female version would have been better:P

Watching today's episode was pretty bittersweet. It's getting better and better, but I know it's gonna be cancelled. It puts a damper on it.

And lots of people said the animation wasn't as good, but I thought it got better...

Wow if people think its getting worse they should be slapped litterally ! animation is a really hard patient and time consuming thing not easy to come by nowadays due to lazy people ! Espically this drawn animation that takes ages to do okay we have fast technology luckly nowadays we dont have to wait a year or two just to be made, a great example of time and effot are in fact these kind of animations and then stop-motion cause they take time to re-position or re-draw / re- photoshop

Some folks have said that the animation seems sloppy. If it is, I haven't noticed it at all.
And the introduction of Ms. Marvel was another win. I'm probably gonna do a mini marathon of the first few episodes later. I simply can't get enough of this show.

Although, I hope Ant Man comes back soon. He really grew on me season 1.

honestly, as long as it looks dynamic and doesn't have a ton of mistakes like iron man's armored hands painted as flesh, i'm cool.

It's good to see new characters starting to show up. Though I'm looking for more like Red Hulk, or some one like that, but patience is a virtue I suppose.

Agreed that this week's episode was bittersweet. I liked everything and the new characters they showed. Awesome series as I look forward to each and every Sunday morning. I feel like a kid again.

I want some more Thor/Asgard stuff. Granted Thor's my favorite character on the show but the little tidbits with Surtur from the Enchantress vs Masters of Evil episode were awesome. And I want to finally see Thor wearing his new duds in action.
