....oops!....avengers heroes unite cartoon was supposed to be the thread starter. Sorry. Still learning this high tech computer stuff...it was only 2days ago I just learned how to get my alarm clock from stop blinking 12:00 all the time. The movie left me wanting more but this toon will keep me going til avengers 2

I just started watching these online. Started with season 1 episode 1 -- Breakout -- and was kinda lost. Never been a Marvel guy, didn't understand much of the lore and many of the players/couldn't identify them. Then I found out the next several episodes actually come first. So I've watched the episodes giving background to the major players so far -- Iron Man, Hulk, Ant Man, Wasp, Thor, and Captain America. Now I'm going back and watching Breakout again.

Anyway, I think this show is great! This is the first Marvel cartoon I've ever been really into. My kids liked Iron Man:Armored Avenger, but for me it was ok-ish.

Anyway, what a shame that they'd cancel it, especially with the hype of the movie-verse going on. Seriously, there's something wrong with Disney.

Yeah, Disney ran a series of shorts that introduced each character and set up their background and story, before the actual start of the series. It's best to start with those.

dam i was so looking forward to this episode the site i normally watch these on a website, are on the same time date im guessing by australia or US , unforntlay for me they dont show the AEMH here in UK well they do but it takes too long and they are like stuiply behind unless it was a replay till season 2 came out but still dissapointing. According to Wiki they all air on the same date (Aus) but hopefully they will be on the net at the same time. Espically with ultimate spiderman but hes's been delayed too

Here's the Wiki list, looks like we get an episode of the Red Hulk but the Skrull Invasion looks like it may only be in one episode kind of sucks. Was hoping something to good.

Ya but according to Wiki the rest is being shown in Australia, don't know about the US, and the Skrull Invasion seems to be only one episode.

I don't see the problem with the actual invasion battle being one episode at all. The actual event wasn't all that great in the comics so getting into the actual battle and ending it in one episode sounds like a good direction to go in for the cartoon. The build up was the infiltration, which so far has spanned multiple episodes. So far this season has been building for one epic battle with the Skrulls. Multiple episodes of that are not necessary and instead give opportunity to depict fall out and a new threat.

That was actually one of the things that made the 1st season so special to me. I seriously didn't think the Avengers could get a bigger threat than Kang (which was 3 episodes), then along comes the threat of Ultron (two episodes;not counting his introduction during the kang story line) and my mind was blown at how much worse he was...until Loki (3 episodes; for the finale and not counting early season episodes). And they all tied in together cohesively. My point is this whole season looks to continue that trend. You actually have 3 big secret invasion episodes, back to back: "Prisoner of war", "Infiltration" and then ending with "Secret invasion".

Keep in mind the second season is also 26 episodes and the secret invasion story line is only episodes 10-12 of 26. So far Loki is expected back for an episode and so is Ultron (15-17). Episodes 18-26 are as of now unknown but I'm willing to bet it involves Kree and the season could end with a Thanos level threat! Maybe even Galactus will make an appearance!
