Quite the remix of Secret Invasion and the Kree/Skrull War.

At least Doom is finally a badass. He's such a wimp in the other shows!

Thoroughly enjoyed the season opener Doom was rightfully intimidating and formidable. I wonder if he would have been able to withstand the heroes with Thor and Ant-man present. Can't wait for the next episode!

Only criticisms I have were the new opening and that the animation seemed a little off.. I'm hoping the funding hasn't been cut for this.

So far only hating the modified intro, but I hated it when they started doing that in season 1 too.
I did get rather tired of some of the animation techniques they used to cut cost though. Like the still frame pans, and other still frame/repeat frame tricks.

Yeah, cameos are fair game entirely since marvel has the full animation rights to everything now(which they ended last season by teasing that with the fantastic 4). It's supposed to include the full marvel universe more or less, and even connect to some previous animated works like the Hulk Vs. Wolverine movie potentially or WatX.

I can't wait to see red hulk! I think one of my favorite things of the season opener was the relationship between Grimm and Hulk. When Hulk used him as a fly swatter, awesome.

I don't like what I'm hearing about the animation but I'm glad they're throwing in a bunch of cameos. Just keep Black Panther as a constant character though and I'll be happy.

Oh man, that's a good catch. I didn't notice it til I rewatched it after I read your post. Definitely some cost reduction in effect. Hopefully it won't be to big an impact on this season in terms of how noticeable it is when they do it. Then again some people are more observant than others. I probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't bring it up.

if every episode features them playing cards ill be wicked happy. Helps build their character. Just wait till they invite wolverine over.

The animation was off in places, like when Iron man was chasing the enemies flying ship, there weren't any inbetween frames in his main poses which kind of cheapened it a bit. The intro was terrible too... I really wanted to sit there for a minute and embrace the kickass theme tune... but other than that it was fantastic, Loved the Hulk/Thing thing... Looking forward to the Guardians of the Galaxy showing up, that will be really cool! Hope they include Deadpool in some form soon, he's not had enough publicity recently.

I'm so glad season 2 is finally here! I love the episode! I love Doom's cryptic "You do not even see what is happening here"

Yeah, that's what tipped me off. I've got a Mark II from the IM2 line and it's pretty much spot on the same armor. And yeah, it would be Stark's oldest armor since Ultron demolished the Mark I in the Helicarrier.

don't think so, because Luke Cage and Iron Fist look different in both series...but it could be one takes place in the past and the other more in the present/future....no idea....although i did hear that it was suppose take place in the same timeline as Wolverine and the X-Men...???

anyways...here's another "spoiler" picture, don't click link if you don't want to see...

2nd Episode was a little weaker but still enjoyable...not digging Caps energy shield and the fact that it can grow but ho hum. Iron Man and War Machine looked cool as hell

I agree also about Cap's energy shield. Why doesn't TChala just make another for him since his country sits on a vibranium mind. Anyway, it was an OK ep. I'm sure it will get better.

Episode 2 was a little weaker due to the whole "Energy worm" thing, but seeing War Machine was very cool. They seem to be expanding into much more of the Marvel Universe this season, which I think is a total win.

I really wish they came out with a season 1 set with good extras and commentary. The commentary on Wolverine and the X-men was pretty interesting...

Ive got the complete boxset of that but havent got round to watching it yet. I caught a couple of random eps and really liked what I saw.
