But reading your comments, especially you 3233rafael who are in the US like me, you are saying there is a way to order this?

From someone who has not really ordered much online from overseas, is the process fairly simple and the same as ordering in the US? Does MyKombini accept paypal?

I'm from France but I guess I can answer as it should be the same for you.
To answer you: yes and yes.
When ordering through MyKombini, you usually need to pay 50% as deposit for exclusives(while most other sites require full upfront payment when it comes to Web-Exclusives), and then 50% whenever you want up until release. And yes, you can do that through PayPal!

^ That. Also, I usually order from MyKombini’s “eBay” store. I do a lot of Japan seller’s eBay stores that way PayPal is a must as it usually is on eBay.

Hey thanks that is helpful. I didn't even think of the ebay route. Also, I checked their main site and they accept paypal there as well so that is good! I will have this figure one way or another ha. It's literally the best Thor from Avengers Infinity War I have seen so far.

I definitely want this Thor. He looks extremely accurate, has a great cloth cape, and has Stormbreaker. He'll be a great replacement for my Age Of Ultron Figuarts Thor.

I've not used Mykombini, but I appreciate the recommendation. I'd love to give them a try. In the past, I've used amiami and anime-export. I only see this Thor on Nippon-yasson at the moment, but I feel like their prices are a little high.

It's a little puzzling that Thor is a Japan only release, but I guess in the end it doesn't really matter.

I usually wait and see what is added in the U.S. for the necessary mark up, but I guess I won't have to do that this time.

I see shipping options from $10+ to $36 depending how quickly you want to receive it and which carrier you prefer. $15 or less is pretty typical from my experience using Airmail or SAL and usually takes 2 weeks or less.

Anime-export also has the figure listed for the same as nippon-yasson: $75.95 which is $9.95 over the $66 listed on Bandai's site. I've used AE a few times and have had no problems. I'm curious when amiami and mykombini will list it, but my patience may not last through the weekend. I'm super excited for Thor.

Very Happy that SH Figuarts is pulling through with the most movie accurate Infinity War Thor I've seen yet. I hate that every other company has put this absurd curve in Stormbreaker that makes it look weird. Not to mention that the wired cape looks beautiful. I know it's a long shot but hopefully it'll be able to stack up in a Marvel Legends collection better than other Figuarts figs; because I totally want to swap this one in for my ML Thor

Mykombini.com now has the Thor figure up for pre-order.

I pre-ordered 2 with shipping to US for about $159 USD which isn't bad. I choose the 2nd shipping option which was 1-2 weeks priority and that was only $12 USD so I am very happy with this.

Figure itself is about $69 USD which is cheap. BBTS wants $128 before shipping :-/

I was surprised too the price BBTS has for the new Thor. It doesn't include a Tamashii Effect so, it has to be because it's an exclusive.

It's the next figure up for sure. US release says for October, so, mid-to-late September is my guess for it to start showing up in Japan.

Not necessarily. If you can find a site that does proxy ordering (some of the members here are more familiar with that than I am), then it will likely still be a little cheaper to directly import it from Japan. But that will all depend on how much it will cost to ship to your location.

hmm.. interesting, I'm just noticing that they are higher priced at Anime Export then the "MSRP" and am assuming it's due to the exclusivity in Japan.
