Yeah, it was some scene. I left some things out to keep it short, but that guy actually told on my too... I saw him grab an employee and start pointing in my direction.. I'm like the Wonder Bread version of Usain Bolt, though.



Anything is possible, but I'm willing to bet those Hulks won't be around when you go back. Three WM's by me ended up getting a case in last night (I actually knew of this and is why I scored last night). After I scored mine at a WM that closes at 10, I stopped into a 24 hr WM, knowing if they did get the expected case in, they were likely already picked over, but what the hell.. it's right around the corner from my house. So this picture here is one WM last night, I did the same thing to the one I hit, and the third was also a 10 pm closer, so I didn't get to stop until this morning on my way in from work... Hulk, HE, and Loki, were gone at 7:30 am this morning when I stopped in (a Cap, Thor, and 2 IM).

Flip a coin.. seriously. Both are fantastic figures. If scale means anything to you, maybe figure out how both versions will look next to those and go that angle.

Lol My Walmarts arent exactly dependable anyways. One of them doesn't sell MU, one is kinda far out, ad the other is almost always late with figures.

Thanks for the pics! I can't decide. I like the color and headsculpt of the Avengers 6 inch version, but I like the body sculpt and articulation of the Marvel Select version.

I power walk over to the pallet as the guy is wheeling... they are toys... and "is that????? Avengers.. STUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Of course this box is in the middle, towards the bottom, of a giant stack of boxes. So I wait for the dude to drop it and leave. "How do I get this case out without making a scene? Shit! A fat dude is approaching... he's looking right at the pallet! Oh no!" I reach in and just Jenga that shit right out of the pile.. fat boy is now here, but I'm holding the case. Ready for this... I turn the opposite way as him and dart off. I go flying down an aisle looking for a safe place to open this case... he comes after me... "WTF!" He's literally power-walking parrallel to me an aisle down... so it's that peek a boo walk thing where someone is going the same pace as you.. only this is intentional,.. and intense. So I stop, cut like Sweetness, and tucked that case under my arm and fucking ran to cosmetics (just where I ended up--weird). "Ok, here's the spot! No one is around.. I lost that dude... finally, Hulk will be mine!" I bust out my shed key, slice that case, rip out the three gems,.. look left and there's the dude... "Uh oh.. he found me!" But it's too late... I have my three figures and I'm out.. I run to checkout, scan scan scan swipe.. boom.. I'm out. I just raided that Walmart like a boss.

If you're reading this, man who lost to me this evening,.. you lost to a better man tonight.

I'm still chuckling over this story an hour and a half later.

My story for those who haven't read yet.

I feel that the geography of my state and the geography of the Walmarts has helped me immensely in my search for these figures as well as frustrate and puzzle me. I have been constantly checking the Walmart in my area. There are three Walmarts in my town all within 10-15 minutes from my apartment. One of them is right next to a distribution center. I have been searching for weeks on end for these figures. Approximately 2 and half weeks before May 28th. (The mod for the new Toys that included Dark Knight Rises and the Amazing Spider-Man figures.)

My fiance and I went to run errands in another town on Wednesday evening (May 30th) an hour and half away. After running our errands we stopped over at the nearest Walmart in that town. I went to the toy section. Nothing. The same stuff that is at my three Walmarts. Not even pegs for the 6 inch Avengers line. Stopped a nice associate and asked all the questions I could about the 6 inch Avengers figures. Gave her UPC codes, codes that appeared on a picture of a peg I saw on another site (The Fwoosh). They had one on hand. We went looking for it. Could not find it. We looked all over. I asked her to type it in once more and now the vectorscanner didn't list anything. I thank her for all her help. I began to walk away but I thought to myself, is the "1 on hand"= 1 box on hand? Hope was still there. I found the associate once more and then asked. I showed her a pic of the box and the figures inside. She went in the back to look for it. She came back...EMPTYHANDED.

I thanked her once more and like her I was empty handed. Hope was lost until the next morning

I woke up May 31st (Yesterday) and browsed on eBay for the nearest listing for these 6 inch Avengers figure and there was a listing of a Cap in another town. Luckily my fiance and I would be visiting that very town. Yes, back back to back errands but such is the life I have now. That town is about 15 minutes away from the town we did our first run errands on May 30th.

Yesterday evening (May 31st) we drove into the second town earlier than scheduled. Around 7pm. We stopped into the Walmart The Walmart has tons of figures. Tons! Three Hulks! I wish I took pics with my phone but I was so excited. I picked up Cap and Hawkeye. Came to a total of $33.55 I wish I could have picked up Hulk for you Arkers but I ended up dipping into my figure budget because my fiance forgot her purse the first night of doing errands (May 30th) and I bought her a swimsuit at the mall and had to pay for gas. I'll be returning to the same town Saturday (tomorrow) for more errands. So I'll stop by and pick up more if anyone needs any figures. I'll be getting more money before the weekend! If anyone needs any figs PM me and I'll send the figures over. Won't be asking for gas money since I'll have to be the second town already. I'm sure the figures will still be there. There were tons. TONS!





Unfortunately, I went to check again today at my three Walmarts and there was still nothing. Nothing. No 6 inch Avengers figures, only Dark Knight Rises figures, and Amazing Spider-Man figures. I would like to get a 6 inch Amazing Spider-Man figure but that's kind of iffy. I'm excited for the film but I don't know about getting a new Spider-Man figure if I can go ahead and find the original film series figures through trades.

I will be resuming my customs once I get my hands on Thor through trade or purchase here or retail and starting unpacking all my figures after the move. If the Walmart I went to has any Hawkeyes left I will pick him up. Going to need an extra for custom.

Don't give up the search! I almost did! Be resourceful Arkers! Don't be afraid to ask for help. Most importantly, think!

The test is simple, put Loki in Hulk's hand upside down by the ankle ( remove Loki's cape and reattach so it hangs down near his head).
