Yeah buddy!!! It was great. I avoided this thread cause I was avoiding spoilers, but since there are none yet...SPOILER ALERT!!

Just kidding.
Its hard going into a movie with certain expectations, and Avengers was certainly no exception. I liked it, I may have wanted more in certain parts, but the movie did not dissapoint. I expected more from certain characters, and was blown away and over exceeded my expections by others..namely Hulk and Black Widow. I would love to see an extended directors cut. No major Easter eggs like in Iron Man, Cap, or even Thor. I was hoping for a Pym or Wasp cameo...that's not a spoiler, is it? And who knows, I may be wrong, i did have a large soda with me.

How are people seeing the sneak peek? Thought it came out Thursday Midnight...Also do we need to wait at the very end of the credits to see something cool?

I've been following reviews from overseas and the answer is YES!

Over here in the UK you only needed to stay mid way through the credits. We stayed to the very end and there was nothing afterwards. Not sure if it will be the same in the US

There is something midway through the credits and more of a **SPOILER ALERT**

More of just a LOL moment after the whole credits have rolled. (Not really a spoiler)

I will probably do the IMAX midnight premiere too. Will sleep after work and go with the misses when she gets off school. Took my mom and son to the sneak peak.

If the thing I saw online is real I'd most def say yes and YES!

I hope we get some goodies like that this weekend. I'd take a frisbee and cool 3d glasses. Also I'll be rocking my snazzy Cap A tee my wifey picked up on Clearance a couple of months ago

Movie was absoulutely breath taking. Stuff just never stops in the movie. Let's just say for the entire 2 hours, I was so hooked I didn't even finish my snack because I didn't want my chewing to distract me from all the awesome I was watching. A Must see over and over!

i wish. Ive got tickets for 1:30 pm. It still irks me how expensive movie tickets are. But, I miss the "mom and pop" cinema my town had before they bulldozed it. Now I pay out the ass at Regal.

Yeah...my ticket was $14.50 for a 3D showing (I don't want to see this movie in 3D at all).

Though to get good seating I'll probably have to be there at 10 PM later for midnight screening.

Does your local theater do early shows? I bought two tickets to an early show this weekend and saved about $20.

If you guys have a Costco card, they sell pairs of Regal tickets for the price of 16 which works for any showing except 3D and IMAX.

My nephew said this movie is one of the ones you have to watch in 3D, although I'll be watching it 2D style, I wear glasses as it is and want to enjoy this movie at it's entirely!

On that note, was going to catch the midnight showing but for the price of 1 3D ticket vs 2...rather not be scalped by the theaters . Plus I have to go to work in the next morning!

You won't miss anything watching it in 2d honestly. Like the first half of the movie I wish I had been watching it in 2d.

That's what I figured, I watched the last Underworld in 3D and honestly I think 2D would have been the same...

Movie theaters are a joke these days, most of them have switched over from film to digital at this point ,so you're basically paying top dollar to see a dvd in a big dirty room with strangers. Fun! $17 isn't a terrible price though.

Good to know, I'm seeing it in 2D and wasn't sure what to expect.

Yeah...one ticket for just 3D showing cost me $14.50. I did originally want to do IMAX (meaning actual IMAX since we do have a real one here in Denver) for this but one of our buds wife won't let him shell out the cash for it.

And I'll be off on my way in 30 mins to wait two hours for good seats. Hopefully it's as good as many are claiming.
