Hmmm...you know, if you took that "A" off the head, it could be an awesome Iron Patriot super-upgrade!
I could totally see crazy Normie in there...

Cool idea.

I hope they still come out with the War Machine version though. Or something equally troop-buildable.

Yeah- you can see those AMAZING paint ups in the Customs thread.
These cant touch the paint apps our fellow Arker threw down.

I'd love to paint that Cap version into War Machine, then load it out with a Cobra rattler's missile compliment- just cover any launch surface in missiles and bombs...and change the face of that shoulfder mounted launcher so it holds twenty missiles instead of the paltry seven it currently holds!

Maybe get the missile racks from a GI Joe Wolverine off Ebay and put them on the legs...
And take the hands off the Crimson Dynamo fig from the IM Animated Adventures line and replace those hands with big grasping mitts!

I'll be getting at least one of these at some point... though honestly, my gutt instinct is to paint it red and change the head so that it's the mech armor Deadpool had in that storyarc where he and Weasel were in Vegas as super hero security for a casino.

Hasbro needs to make Detroit Steel, would make an awesome Gigantic Battles pack.

$22 seems reasonable for these. The TRU I saw them at was selling them for $28.

its crazy. i remember almost a year ago to the day someone coming on here with "I spotted Thor at Target today.." and it was a mad rush. Like 8 figures that first day. Now I cant pay someone to take them off my hands.

These armors are "fun", but lack any real legitimacy, well at least the Cap one...

Movie Thor was my first 3.75" scale Thor.. a year and four Thor figure purchases, later that figure has been sold in a lot.

I think I had something like 11 total MU figures at that point.

Finally saw these in person the other day. I still wouldn't mind getting the IM version and treat it like a Hulkbuster suit, but I will probably wait for a clearance sale all the same. But $22 is a lot better than $30.

still might get the cap one to make a Detroit Steel. The scale is almost right. Or buy the IM one to make the iron man enemy firepower.

Went to TRU for this today.. completely sold out.. come onnnn. Picked up the 3.75 Hulk instead. He isn't nearly as bad as I thought, but still nothing worth writing home about.

Nicely done, I follow your work on FB, and enjoyed your repaint, how long would you estimate the paint time to be? I may get 1 but I'll have to repaint it, just looks like a lot of surface area to cover lol.
