Great job on those. Have you done anything similar with the Skrulls?

I was thinking of repainting one or two into theirclassic colored purple and black version and maybe making a "tank" like taht AIM guy for some diversity but I've not done anything yet. First I need to take a Cap-line Captain Britan fig and make a Kree badass to keep them dirty Skrulls in line! |

I love the spin you put on them bro they're pretty awesome because we always forget there is a person under the helmet so wouldn't they wanna not look jobber-ish? I would make myself stand out in my uniform if I could but then again they can switch places in case they piss somebody off lol

I was taking the wings off the old namor's feet the other day (to use his body for a custom) and was thinking of making some nut AIM guy with Thor wings on his helmet and a BFG with ASGARD-> on it.

Pics and your awesome pics/custom stuff should clog the threads, not the silly banter thats usually filling threads. Do it bro and id love to see any additions. These AIM soldiers are underrated and your making them even better by making them a true army of different types of soldiers.

Love how these these guys are individuals in a sea of faceless minions, and the defaced bases are a great touch, i can really see them becoming the MU version of Troopers!!! (crosses fingers and hopes people remember Troopers from Toyfare magazine!!!)

I think with a little super glue, the iron grenadier's weapons would look amazing on an AIM soldier. Same with the flame thrower guy. Hell even a head swap or something. I've never seen him in person though so idk how it'll scale.
any suggestions on the pouches from cyclops belt? just cut them into singles and glue? |

Great idea on that Iron Grenadier- Joes weapons kick ass.
I have a Hazard Viper coming from BBTS to make a HAZMAT AIM soldier- should be fun! As to the Cyclops belt stuff- yes, just cut it up and glue it wherever you like- the rubber takes super glue perfectly and is flat on the backside. As it's already the right shade of yellow, no painting is required even! Bestter still, Cyclops' body is the new "perfect buck" for making so many great customs and his circular X bit is a great greeble for any x-men custom. Something to try with Cyke parts- use his wrist bangles glued to a pouch or two for a leg-strapped pouch great for Hydra goons! Same with Cyce's hands- great for pointig officers bossing minions around! |

These are awesome. My favorite one is Tex. Great stuff. I had the chance to pick up MODOK at SDCC this year but passed because I spent too much on other stuff. When I get a MODOK, I'd love to do something similar to what you've done. Great work on adding individuality to each guy and making some use out of the star wars guns.

Holy shit!
20?!?! That's a big team! Now get an extra Wrecker, some SW equipment, Cyclops and start customizing! I was looking at my lone HYDRA cap line goon- the only one not in comic colors- and thinkning he might make a nice AIM soldier...if I can pull off my New Year's Resolution to learn to cast parts, I'll make some AIM helmets! Symbiote, I checked my LCS for MODOK parts but they only had a bunch of legs- no arms! I was thinking of taking the old Iron Man toyline's MODOK and making MODAM...or maybe MODOG (the corpse of which is still in orbit, I guess thanks to Iron Man). |

Thanks- check out my Hydra Badasses thread too- I have yet another two custom soldiers of Hydra coming- now that I found another Cyclops for his pretty yellow pouches!
Why did he need those anyway/? They were full off Visene drops. |
