Hi! Just wanted a place to post random pictures of my McFarlane DC toys.

The line started in 2020, but I was preoccupied with family emergencies for a while. I didn't start collecting these until July 2021. My first two were Barbara Gordon Batgirl (Sean Murphy design from Rebirth "Art of the Crime") and WW1984 Golden Eagle Armor.

My primary focus is on Batfamily characters. I'd like to get one of each of "important" characters if possible. There've been a lot of Batmans, but my favorite by far is the Arkham Knight version.

I missed many of the initial release dates, so I've had to rely on luck to get older figures that I wanted (either online or in stores). I've managed to pay retail or less for each figure.

----------

Order in which I got them:
Sean Murphy Rebirth ("Art of the Crime") Batgirl (with Batmobile piece)
WW1984 Golden Eagle Armor
New 52 Nightwing & Red Hood 2-pack
Arkham Knight Batman
Damian Wayne Robin
WW1984 regular DCEU costume
Three Jokers Batgirl
Three Jokers The Comedian (GameStop Exclusive)
Rebirth Joker
Inque as Batman Beyond
Batwoman Beyond (Target Exclusive)
Blue Nightwing (with Batmobile piece)
Masked Thomas Wayne Batman (Target Exclusive)
Detective Comics #1000 Batman
Batman Beyond Shriek Unmasked
Batman Beyond solo release (non-BAF)
Arkham Origins Deathstroke
The Suicide Squad Bloodsport (masked)
The Suicide Squad Peacemaker (masked)
Three Jokers Red Hood
Three Jokers The Clown
Three Jokers The Criminal
Gotham Knights Red Hood
Three Jokers Batman
Gotham Knights Batgirl
Batman Beyond Shriek Masked (Target Exclusive)
Batwoman Beyond Unmasked
Atomic Meltdown Blight

----------

Pre-ordered or will get for sure:
Infinite Frontier Damian Wayne Robin

----------

Considering:

Hush vs Batman 2-pack

----------

Miscellaneous:
I have four of the Fortnite Wild Cards and Inferno to use as villains. (Inferno comes with two pistols but can hold only one of them, so you can give the spare one to Suicide Squad Peacemaker if you have him in your collection.)

Fortnite Carbide and Omega (to use as Killer Moth and Firefly)

Fortnite Skully

multiples of Fortnite Havoc (to use as generic soldier / special ops / SWAT)

The Witcher videogame Ciri (blue version) (to use as Ravager / Rose Wilson)

Mortal Kombat Kitana red variant

Art of the Crime Batgirl was my very first McFarlane DC figure. I liked her so much that I got WW1984 Golden Eagle Armor at Best Buy when I bought the Blu-ray.

I take my figures out of their boxes but leave the plastic covering the info cards and stands intact. I decided to use the NECA stands that are sold in many/most Target stores.

My next purchases were the New 52 Nightwing & Red Hood 2-pack from BBTS (did anyone actually see this in a brick-and-mortar store, lol) and Arkham Knight Batman from Target. Glad I skipped the Arkham Origins Batman because it doesn't have double jointed elbows!

Gangnam style!

Regular Gal Gadot Wonder Woman was hard to find for a long time until I saw a listing for $20 on Mercari. I got her at about the same time that I got Damian Wayne Robin from Target.

Last week, I got Three Jokers Batgirl from Amazon. I also got Three Jokers The Comedian from GameStop (their exclusive).

Yesterday, I drove to some stores that I don't usually visit to try my luck. I got Classic Harley Quinn, Target Excl Batwoman Beyond, Target Excl "Inque", and Rebirth Joker, all for retail. Out of these, I've only opened Classic Harley Quinn.

I was able to find the Blue Nightwing and Batman Who Laughs from the same Build-a-Batmobile wave as AOTC Batgirl for retail on eBay, and they arrived today. And yes, I assembled the car, lol.

I have the Mattel Stephanie Brown Spoiler, which I got for $5 from Walmart a while ago. It's really nice and even a tad tall for 6-inch scale, but she's still smaller than the McFarlane Damian Wayne.

I figured out why McFarlane made the Build a Batmobile that size -- it's Robin's bed.

Classic Harley Quinn is a disappointment. She's not just too tall, the legs are way too long for her body shape. The proportions are even worse than AOTC Batgirl, whom many people complain is "too tall" or "out of scale". Giving her high heels makes things worse. On top of everything, the knee and elbow joints bend too far the wrong way.

Some pictures of Three Jokers The Comedian. He's a GameStop Exclusive, but don't fret. I've seen him in at least three stores in my area, and he's been available online regularly without going OOS for at least the past week.

Hello welcome to the forum. It will be fun to see your collection. I'm looking forward to the photos. You started the collection just last year, but you are on the way to a good collection, congratulations.

I am also a Batman lover. Especially old Kenner products are always very important to me. I have been collecting for over 20 years. If you want to examine it, please visit the topic named My Mixed Collection.

Congratulations again. Best Regards.

Actually, I started this year, barely six months ago.

Just got four Wild Cards and an Inferno from McFarlane's Fortnite series. Inferno is nearly identical to Wild Card except for the head and accessories. McFarlane has said that the DC figures were derived from the same articulation system used by the Fortnite figures. I've only posed them next to Red Hood, but everything looks great together.

Inferno comes with two guns, but only the right hand has a trigger finger. The guns are a little longer than Red Hood's guns, and I think they would look great with Suicide Squad Peacemaker.

Most of Inferno's head is made of clear plastic, so if you have a light source placed properly, his head and even eyes glow.

Things have gone quiet with regards to news/rumors about McFarlane and Fortnite. If McFarlane is not going to make anymore Fortnite figures, I hope that he's allowed to use the same business suit pieces to produce DC characters that wear them.

Also received Masked Thomas Wayne Batman today, so glad that I got him instead of the Unmasked version.

Detective Comics #1000 Batman (found him for retail at a local store)

Also received Fortnite Carbide and Omega in the mail.

Well, as many of you already know, Detective Comics #1000 Batman's head is too small. The shoulder articulation is hampered by the cape. The feet are too big, though that helps him stand without the base. Oddly for a figure that has obvious problems, the head has a lot of freedom of movement. I like this figure's overall "look"; the execution just needed some finessing.

I got the Fortnite Omega and Carbide to be my collection's Firefly and Killer Moth. Although Killer Moth usually has purple outfits in DC's comics and animation, I wanted him to wear something similar to Firefly. These two figures were the perfect solution. They have largely similar bodies, the differences being the heads, the front chest piece, and some pointy fins on Omega's shoulder blades. Their joints are rather loose, so I will definitely have to use the bases that were included in the packaging since the foot peg holes are much larger than the pegs on the NECA bases.

Three Jokers wave starting to trickle into physical brick and mortar stores!

These are the Batman Beyond figures that I have. Target is the Exclusive US distributor of a Batman Beyond BAF wave, which includes Batman Beyond with covered mouth and circular batarangs, Masked Shriek, Batwoman Beyond, and Blight. I prefer the solo Batman Beyond release, which has a mouth and jet flames to attach to his feet. If you really want to display Batman Beyond with the circular batarangs, you can borrow one of Batwoman's. The "Inque" figure is just a re-paint of the solo Batman Beyond figure, which is perhaps "lazy" but can be used as another character if you like (such as Luke Fox Nightwing). Masked Shriek looks nice, but the Unmasked head has a good resemblance to the animated version. Plus, I like the circular sonic blasts rather than the single, asymmetrical sonic blast included with the BAF release.

Also finally opened the other two Wild Cards.

Since DC doesn't want toy manufacturers to include guns under a certain price point, I decided to look for McFarlane Fortnite accessories on eBay. Someone happened to be selling a variety of weapons, and I took the opportunity to expand my arsenal.

My first switcheroo was to give Omega (my version of Firefly) the same gun as Carbide (my version of Killer Moth).

Next up was giving the men in suits some heavy hardware.

Sure, Fortnite figures would be able to hold Fortnite accessories, but what about the DC Multiverse figures?

Very nice! The whole no guns thing for toys by comic places is super weird. That tommy gun looks great on the Joker btw haha.

Yeah, it's fortunate that McFarlane already makes real-world guns for action figures in the same scale as the DC characters. I didn't want to buy customs or accessories from another manufacturer and end up with stuff that don't fit in the hands.

My favorite is the Three Jokers Batgirl because she already looks annoyed with the side eyes, and the BFG just makes her look even more menacing.

So, I know people sometimes find a sought-after oldie at Walgreens, so I tried my luck at several stores and saw this.

Got Fortnite Havoc today. Looks great, has a generic military / special ops outfit, suitable for army building.

After a lot of waffling about whether or not to get new/sealed versions of Bloodsport and Peacemaker since I don't really want either Harley Quinn or Polka Dot Man to complete the King Shark BAF, I got them loose on eBay. Peacemaker's sword looks great paired with Wonder Woman. Both Bloodsport and Peacemaker can hold McFarlane Fortnite guns.

I was looking for female characters from non-DC lines and found out there's a Ciri re-paint. Oddly, it's not available anywhere except for GameStop. I found one near me. She's going to be Ravager / Rose Wilson in my collection.

Also, online solicitation pictures make it look like she doesn't have the blade swooshing effect, but it's included in the back along with the base stand.

She's shorter than the usual 7-inch McFarlane figures but still taller than Damian Wayne and a typical 6-inch action figure (the Batgirl from DC's Batman vs TMNT line). Her boots have high heels, though, so they could be the same "height".

The sword is comically long for her, and it's longer than Deathstroke's sword. Things might look better with a swap, lol.

Wedding of the Century!
