Begins was by far the best. TDK was overhyped and TDKR was just garbage.

Opinion, opinions... I still think 'Begins' is the worst Bat-movie ever, even worse than Schumasher's comedy/parody ones.

Overhyped? Why? Because it goes beyond being just a super hero movie? It was a near perfect movie. It had excellent acting, a great well told story, Ledger and Eckhart were down right fantastic in their roles and gave it their all. It had a lot of elements of the different eras of Batman in there that matter, was full of practical effects, and had great action scenes. It is THE best super hero movie to date. The only thing that comes close is Winter Soldier.

I think that Aaron Eckhart's performance as Harvey Dent/Two-Face was excellent and is unfortunately looked over since Ledger's Joker stole the show, I love the foreshadowing of his great "die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" line.

Regarding Begins, I like it a tad more than Rises but still I have to say that The Dark Knight was just too damn good so that's easily my favorite of the Nolan films. I think that Liam Neeson was pretty damn cool as Ra's Al Ghul and then just in general actually seeing them use Ra's Al Ghul as the main villain was great to me. They could have very easily used Joker or one of his other main popular villains but they went with the lesser know but most challenging villain to him instead so that was cool to see that they weren't just catering to the audience but to actual fans.

I have to agree, TDK was amazing, my favorite comic movie ever folllowed by Wintet soldier. Begins was cool too but Dark Knight Rises was not my cup of tea. Of course it was hard to follow TDK but batman is barely in rises. I just hope we get some good 4" Nolan trilogy figures someday with more than 5 POA.

I love Begins and it is by far the most accurate adaptation of a Batman comic on screen thus far. The only issue with Begins is sometimes the pacing can be slow depending what type of mood you are in. However, I love it and it was the first Batman movie I had watched religiously since the 89 one.

Even having Scarecrow as like a guest villain was so comic book-ish of Nolan, yes I'm aware that every Batman movie prior to Begins except for the '89 one also had multiple villains but Begins actually did it well and proper.

They look really bad.. almost bootleg. The Movie Masters are certainly not for collectors.

Shame DC Collectables couldn't make em!

Actually DC Collectibles can make toys for this if they want to since they're DC, they'd just be in 7" scale instead. Will they? Probably no since they seem to only make figures for their stuff that wouldn't be getting toys otherwise: games, specific comic looks, TV shows, and the like. Those things DC that aren't high on Mattel's priorities. Seeing as how this film is hoping to be a blockbuster summer hit it looks like DC is happier to let the actual toy company take the wheel on these, which could indeed be seen as a shame.

Not just Scarecrow and Ra's, but it also had Falconi and Zasz. That was four villains in the movie that was done well.

Absolutely Falcone though he isn't a "super-villain" it makes him better that he's actually one of the gangster characters, Zsasz was really just a cameo for fans but still a fun nod to the comics.

You can't really have a "Year One" story without Falcone.

They should've just went Barbie style for the Batman and Supes figures too... those 6-inch figures are horrible. Reusing that old MoS mold that can't even hit a passable flying pose is just wtf.

I agree with the general consensus here. These toys look like absolute crap. You know a toy line is in trouble before hitting the starting gate when the Barbie is the best of the bunch. I am supremely disappointed here. The ONLY way I would cave and get the 2-pack is if an electronic Batmobile comes along in scale with the figures.

I think it's come to a point where collectors should say "If Mattel doesn't care, why should we?"

Actually, I think we've well crossed the point where collectors NEED to come to terms with the fact Hasbro and Mattel are mass retail TOY companies, and to adjust those expectations to current realities (ie, action figures are selling less, but expected to make as much or more; overseas labor continues to rise, etc).

In the last 15 years, there has been an EXPLOSION of sources that actually, without any wiggle wording, cater to US, with an appropriate level of quality. Which so happens to cost a LOT more than the TOYS guys like Hasbro and Mattel sell to Walmart.
