Battery cover - is this for a toy? Does anyone know which one?

This battery cover is a mystery to me - unfortunately, it's pretty generic in colour, and if I use a photo search then it comes up with an assortment of other stuff totally unrelated to action figures. Does anyone recognise the shape of this cover?
