i'm surprised they haven't gone with the GI Joe idea already, it would work so well with Kre-O... But Battleships seems pretty good to me!

not sure if I get this one, will the battleship brand be enough to sell a series of building block sets? There's no well known characters to get people to collect like transformers or GI Joe would have, just a board game to draw ideas from.

The ship designs would have to be really good to sell these sets to me, cause those minifigs aren't a classic designs like lego and they definitely aren't close to the quality of the halo megabloks figures.

Anything else announced? Did they say if we are getting any other toys for Battleship (i.e. action figures)?

GI Joe Kre-O might have been kind of exciting. The Kre-O mini figures just seem so bland compared to the Lego mini figures that Hasbro needs some characters if they want that style of mini figure to catch on.

On the bright side it might be fun building the boats and then using my Lego mini figures with them.

Are there any other toys planned for the battle ship movie like IDK maybe a 3.75 inch figure and vehicle line they could make it compatable with G.I. Joe
