Looks great, but that's it for articulation? I was hoping for synthetic skin over the frame to maintain the look but keep the articulation. Oh well... looks fantastic... If I had $1000+, I'd sooooo get the Avengers Hot Toys. They look great!

I wouldn't be surprised if he had interchangeable arms (at the shoulder joints) so that the body looks more uniform and not so much like a "figure". Just a guess on my part.

I don't believe this is the finished prototype. As far as I know...they're not done sculpting the joints.

However this is bought asap! Avengers assemble!

I fully admit I know nothing about them, because they are priced well out of my acceptable spending range for a toy. I love looking at the pics tho.
The pics always look amazing. How the figures look in person, I'll never know.

Hence buying 1, pics don't do justice to some of the figures, the details and craftsmanship is really eerily lifelike. If you can't afford a $2-300 figure try buying 1 of the cheaper ones around, such as odin which can be bought for like $130 shipped, even if it's a piece of a figure, the details are aweosme and worth the $$, I do wish they were cheaper, so that it made "collecting them all" actually doable instead of do I want to pay rent or not. I would love to have a few more IM's, Agent Coulson, Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Warmachine, Thor, Cap, Loki and Hulk, but that's easily $3-4000 shipped.

The one thing I will say about hot toys which is true, if you are interested in a figure, get it while it's available, ie preorder, flexpay, and order while in stock, as after that be prepaired to pay 2-3 times the retail from scalpers/resellers on ebay.
