The retail release comes in a box with a variant 3.75" Silver Surfer. No blister card, but it is still electronic. Also there is a variant for the retail release that features a darker color scheme for Galactus. The regular version of the retail release has the same color scheme as the SDCC version.

Might I also add, only the regular retail galactus is in stock at BBTS. they do not have the varient in stock.

Which is the better deco in your opinions? I don't think I've seen pictures of each side by side.

Personally, I like the darker color scheme. It gives him more gravitas and menace, while the "regular" colors are more comic accurate, I guess. Here's a rough comparison (regular is on the left):

As much as I love the classic colors I gotta admit the darker variant gives him more of an ominous look. Just hope when he hits retail that we get him in these parts. There are alot of great MU's coming but I think Galactus and King Hulk top my list by far.

Very torn between which one to get. I really like the comic colors, but that darker color scheme looks really nice on him. It seems like almost everyone prefers the dark version as well. What is that looked based on again? Ultimate Alliance?
