I've never had much interest in MotU, even though I did watch a bit of the show as a kid, but I might just get that Fearless Photog figure. Would be an interesting action figure to display with my camera collection.

I know very little about this line, are they available at TRU's?

Sorry no. Only available online at Mattycollector.com.

That sucks. I've heard some rather bad stories about dealing with them, and have no plans to ever attempt to do so myself. Oh well.

You can find a lot of these figures online for almost the same price it would cost you to get a figure directly from Matty. Check Amazon & eBay the month after what you want is on sale.

Fearless Photog? Must have missed that as a kid... But yeah, great selection here, Particularly Shadow Weaver! ^^

A select few were/are available in 2-packs versus DC Universe Classics figures, only at TRU. He-Man vs Superman, etc. But Optimus Vader is right, you can get the regular figures for reasonable prices elsewhere online after initial release.

Fearless Photog was the winning entry from Mattel's design a figure contest back during the original line in the 80s, but it never went into production. Now they're finally making him, along with a few other new characters for the 30th Anniversary.

As for Shadow Weaver, she's the most fan-demanded figure, but they have made her the subscription exclusive. As in only those who have committed to buy the entire year's worth of toys get her. And any that make it to the secondary market will probably be outrageously overpriced.

It's a really good thing that these are not in stores or I would be broke as hell. I WANT THESE!

Not be rude or anything but is the guy who created him....y'know, still around?? His character's finally getting an action figure and all - must be awesome.

Thanks for clearing that up about Photog, I was sure I'd never seen him before. But DAMN, that's harsh news about Shadow Weaver being a subscription exclusive. No way I could pay second hand prices for her. >_<

Yes he is still ummong the living. lol He doesn't get any money for it as Mattel has already awarded him from winning the contest in the 80's.

I thought I read that Mattel has really been trying to track him down, but they haven't had any luck. Not 100% certain on that.

I know...but keep an eye out from time to time once she's released next year, you never know when you might find a decent deal!

I tend to stay away from buying anything online, tbh, but depending on the end price, I might make an exception in this case. I'll keep an eye out. He would make a great addition to my camera collection.

I've seen the two-packs a couple of times, but wasn't sure if those were the only one's available outside MC's website. My very limited knowledge of this line doesn't help, lol.

sigh......that, unfortunately, will be the only way I'll be able to get one. I don't want all the figure from the Sub, and even if I did, I missed the sub months ago. I had no idea it was for sale since I was out of the country for 6 months.
