I feel like every release from Beast Kingdom just seems "off" in some way. As if they make design decisions and push through the inner creative director that says,"It was a decent idea but just isn't working in execution". Here it's Batman's massive torso and the ridiculously deep mold etching on Flash.

Beast Kingdom nailed it on Keaton’s face likeness. That’s the only good thing they did. The rest look bad.

1000% same opinion... like, all their other action figures, but especially a lot of their "SD" scale figs and maquettes... I just don't know who's buying them. I don't know a single other collector personally who buys them, but who knows--maybe they sell like hot cakes over in Hong Kong

Um the likeness to Batman looks great if not terrific. I would seriously love if Mcfarlane could approach that level on just sculpt.

But then the belly needs to be taken in. The top of the suit is actually that bulky in the film.

Flash
I appreciate what they are trying to do but they need to dial the detail back in this case.

Hahaha that Batman is terrible like most of beast kingdoms stuff. Why the hell is the cowl's nose pointed outward like pinocchio.

Agree on all points. The only DAH figures that look remotely decent to me are the animated figures like Duck Tails. Otherwise they all look like they knocked off another figure and there's stretching of the mold or something like that. So many stores carry them too, unless it's some bundle deal with Bandai that they have to buy a case of everything they release, I don't know why they're so widespread in stores and yeah, not a single collector on all the sites I'm in seems to have one.

I normally don't like to make comments if I have absolutely nothing but negative things to say, but also, I have absolutely nothing but negative things to say about these.

It's like, these might be considered good under two conditions:
A. There were no other toys supporting The Flash movie.
II: It was the year 2012 -this seems to be about when these would fit.
c. No one looked Batman's absurd torso.

It's like Beast Kingdom tried to differentiate themselves from the other Flash products by being abjectly the worst available.

I never see anyone say "Look at my Beast Kingdom stuff!"
Most of the people who say they have bought a Beast Kingdom figure have expressed some regret about it.

I have the Beast Kingdom Ben Affleck Batman and Cavill Superman and they're excellent figures (shoulder articulation is wonky, but otherwise love them)

Every release since then has just been, well like you all said, "Off." Sculpt talent is there but proportions are all wrong

Batman's oddly fat body and Flash's weirdly skinny body makes for perfectly chaotic juxtapositions. I guess they also wanted to pay homage to Ezra's "they" pronoun by giving him boobs.

Looks good but something odd is going on with Batman's nose. It looks like Woody Wood Pecker's beak. Hope they fix it for production.
