Hey folks!
New guy here. Been collecting MU since its inception. I held off on Marvel Legends given the tremendous backlog. This Christmas my brother-in-law got me started. Suffice it to say that I've got some work to do. If you're interested in selling off some of your figures, please let me know what you've got and what you want. I'm only interested in figures that have all of their accessories, reasonably tight joints, and good paint-jobs. Build-a-figure parts are optional. Note that the figures do not have to be MOC-- just in great shape. I’m just starting out collecting so I’m open to other figures you might have, but will prioritize the below figures. Want list: Beast Domino Sabertooth Kingpin (white suit) Bishop (Bald Variant) Battle Ravaged Spiderman Apocalypse Magneto Scorpion Shocker Electro Mysterio Lizard Carnage Vulture Doc Oc Black Suit Spiderman Baron Von Strucker Red Skull Blob (BAF) Sentinel (BAF) Modern Armor Ironman Forge Parts for Mojo: Parts for MODOK: Dream list: Face off Captain America With Mask On Winter Soldier Black Widow from Winter Soldier 2 pack (in black) Crossbones Ares (BAF) Jigsaw in White suit Red Deadpool X-force Warpath Hawkeye Avalanche Hank Pym (any incarnation—BAF or otherwise) Last edited by jesters89; 04-20-2013 at 07:09 AM.. You didn't mention if you want them MOC or loose.

Ah, sorry. I had the following line which could be clearer:
"If you're interested in selling off some of your figures, please let me know what you've got and what you want. I'm only interested in figures that have all of their accessories, reasonably tight joints, and good paint-jobs. Build-a-figure parts are optional." Added a line to clarify: Note that the figures do not have to be MOC-- just in great shape. Thanks for the catch! |

My advice, save back a couple of months, find a good legends lot on ebay and blow about $500 on a big lot. If you're just starting out you'll not have to worry about getting many doubles and if you're patient you will be able to find a lot of your biggest wants in the lot. You'll be able to get them for an average of $7-$8 per figure in a lot loose. This will save you a LOT of money in the long run not only by the figure but also skipping all the individual shipping charges you will incur along the way.

I really appreciate the advice. I think I'll try and take you up on it. It'll be tough to resist the urge to purchase more figures for so long, but it sounds like in the long run it'll be worth it.
How often do solid lots like you mentioned pop up on ebay? Do they pop up on this site ever? If anyone is thinking about moving a really big lot for a good chunk of money, we could work out a payment plan ;P. Jeremy |

I don't know about here so much but 50+ marvel legends figure lots show up on ebay 2-3 times per week, whereas the 100+ show up about half as much. I just search for "marvel lot" under action figures on ebay and search from there. Sometimes you'll get real lucky on a buy it now lot for cheap if you see it in the first couple of minutes of being posted. Otherwise, auction bidding at the last minute is the way to go.

Thanks for the tips, warmachine. I'll check the figures out. I've been using this site to print off textures and accessories for buildings: Small Stuff's PrintMini: Printable Dollhouse Miniatures & Printies
