List the best Marvel story arcs/TPB's you can think of. Haven't read a Marvel book in a while. I prefer the TPB format. So what do you recommend? Here's my list of good reads:
  • The Ultimates Vol 1
  • The Ultimates Vol 1
  • Ultimate Iron Man Vol 1
  • Daredevil Reborn
  • Daredevil Yellow
  • X men The 2nd Age Of Apocalypse
  • Spiderman(collecting the Mcfarlane series 12 issues)
  • Punisher Born
  • Punisher Welcome Back Frank
  • Death Of Captain America
  • Planet Hulk
  • World War Hulk

Having only read X-Men stuff from the past few years, I really enjoyed House of M, Messiah Complex, Avengers/X-Men: Utopia, Necrosha, and Second Coming.

Only read Planet Hulk and World War Hulk recently. Both were awesome.

I'd be interested in some Spidey arcs from last 10 years. He was always one of the Marvel guys I paid attention to when younger. Focused mostly on DC books as a kid.

My favorites would probably be:

-Infinity Gauntlet (my favorite mini-series of all time)
-Dark Avengers (actually made me interested in Norman Osborn)
-X-Men/Avengers Utopia (Cyclops proves why he is awesome)
-Siege
-X-Men: Days of Future Past (oldie but goodie)
-Spiderman (McFarlane)
-House of M

-Secret Wars is also fun for a little nostalgia, but it feels really dated these days.

I also really liked the JLA/Avengers cross-over. I'm a sucker for DC/Marvel crossovers.

Those Hulk ones you mentioned are the last Hulks ones I read, and they were awesome indeed.

As for Spidey....I stopped reading after "One More Day". Ugh. I read spoilers months ahead, thought I was reading a joke script..bought the 1st issues...realized what I read wasn't a joke...
