Introducing The Fog: The Action Figure! Quote:

Are you prepared for a highly articulated, fully lifelike, extremely detailed and movie-accurate representation of one of horror’s most terrifying villains? Well, are you at least ready for cotton balls that I mounted to cardbacks? Either way, The Fog: The Action Figure is rolling in. I probably should’ve started by saying this is quite possibly the stupidest thing I’ve ever made. That being said, at no point during production did I say to myself, “This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever made. I should stop.” Instead, I said, “This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever made. I should keep going.” Despite the fact that it is just pulled-apart cotton, I'm still relatively pleased with the way the cardbacks came out. Seems like that poster art was meant to be turned into card art. I made a bunch of them (because I’m an asshole), but I couldn't justify charging my usual custom price of $50 each for something like this. So I put them up on eBay for $25 a piece. OK, I'll go in halves here ... Make one for 'The Mist' only have the blister part have a couple of holes. Add the worlds smallest smoke machine run by a single 1.5V battery that emits smoke when a button is pushed. It's like a new action figure every time! |

They freaking sold out. Somebody has got to teach me how to make these so that I can sell them for a million a pop. Reminds me of this: Last edited by Kamatayan; 02-09-2016 at 06:07 PM.. |

Images for the curious. The first image was for an April Fool's joke but the demand for it was so high that Mattel sold it as an SDCC exclusive. The second image is the SDCC exclusive and they actually put a transparent jet in there. Or at least I think. Can't really tell. Last edited by Kamatayan; 02-09-2016 at 06:49 PM.. |
