Can anybody please provide their experience with BBTS? I’ve bought from them before and had the item shipped overseas here to the U.K. and had no issues whatsoever. I’m wanting to do the same again, only this time my order will contain pre-orders, from reviews I’m reading online this might not seem like such a good idea, a lot of unhappy customers. Has anyone not in the USA pre-ordered from BBTS? Or indeed if anyone in the US can provide their experience with pre-orders I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m looking to spend a lot of money, so I don’t want to be messed around too much.

I've been using them for years. Havent heard of any issues with their preorders other than they seem to get stuff in later than the other etailers. But they have an easy cancel option that doesnt require $ upfront (usually) so if you see something that you preordered from them available somewhere else, it's no problem to cancel and get it elsewhere.
And just make sure you set everything you order to go to your pile of loot. I know some people forget to do that and end up with a shipping charge for each item in their order. My own experiences with them have been fine. The instances when I've had an issue with something I've ordered, it was taken care of right away. |

I've had nothing but good experiences with BBTS, including the one time I received a defective product and had to use their customer service to get a replacement, but I am in the US so being in the UK might be different.

I have found that it may take them a little longer to get certain items in. They will however get those items in. I've been a fan since the Atom Smasher wave of DCUC in 2009. Lately I did the pile of loot and it's great. Love this website and strongly recommend to any of my friends who want to collect. I've never had a bad issue with them in all 13 years of doing business with them.
They cancelled only one order on me that was a reissue on Mysterio in classic comic form and was really Hasbro pulling the plug than anything they could do. Last edited by Atomsmasher; 06-13-2022 at 07:14 AM.. |

US user. I’ve been buying from BBTS since ~2010. I’ve never had any issues with them. The few times I’ve had issues with figures, their customer service was very helpful.
If you’re going to preorder figures from them, make sure you’re using the Pile Of Loot feature. It will save you a lot of money on shipping. If you’re not familiar with this feature, they charge you the base price for your figures when they arrive. However, they hold onto them in their warehouse until you tell them to ship your stuff. When you tell them to ship your items, you’ll be charged for taxes and shipping fees. They’ll hold your items for 90s day before they automatically ship it to you. |

Same here--I only have good things to say about BBTS.
It can take a week to get your parcel (in USA), but patience builds character! BBTS is very reputable. It once even called me because I'd changed my address right before shipping my stash-of-loot, and the store clerk wanted to verify somebody hadn't hacked my account. |

Another satisfied US user here. I will echo they do seem to get things later than most. But I've never really cared about getting things first. As long as I know I'll get it when it comes in and it'll be sent with care.
Their pile of loot system is great for holding and combining things on shipping. Their customer service is also top notch. From my experience, willing to work with you, even extending pile of loot timelines if you're waiting on something else |

UK buyer - I had one order go missing (which had preorders). Took a while to get the refund, but apart from that they seem ok.

I have A ton of Mythic Legions thanks to Big Bad.
Just wanted to agree, add few positive comments from my experience. Bigbadtoystore gives fans a 2nd chance at timed pre orders that sellout elsewhere. Good honest company ive been using them for years . Good communication! Items always packed safely .always great condition.Affordable 4 dollar shipping . NEVER canceled an order on me ever. Reselling older hard to get big chain store exclusives. Huge Variety of Collectables in one site. Last edited by CosmicCreature; 06-12-2022 at 09:33 PM.. |

I've been shopping with BBTS since the early '00s (maybe even as early as '01 or '02, but I know for a fact that I was buying from them in '03), and I've never had a bad experience with them.
Granted, in the past, I might have ordered maybe only one or two items from them every few months or so, as I used to be one of those "thrill of the hunt" collectors. However, these days, the majority of my figure purchases are online, so I have been ordering significantly more from BBTS, and I'm still very happy with them. A few years ago, back when I was still collecting Transformers, I ordered a TF Prime Arcee figure, and while I have forgotten the specifics, the figure had a quality control issue with one of her limbs. I can't remember if she had two left legs, or two right legs, or if a part of one of the legs had been put on backwards, lol, but it was some sort of issue that Hasbro didn't catch at the factory. I immediately contacted BBTS and explained the situation. They told me to keep the figure, and they shipped a new one to me the same day. After that experience, I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service.

They are a little slow sometimes, but I don't go to BBTS for speed, I go to them for reliability. So it might take a little longer, but at least my order will be correct and will be packed well enough so that when I receive it it won't look like they kicked it down the stairs.

Been shopping with them since 2006. Only issue is ever had was I thought the price on the world peacekeepers SU-27 was high. Now I know better and wish I had bought many more at that price.

Been shopping with them pretty much since 2005, I believe. Never once had a problem with any of my orders from them. Which is saying something! But with the prices on their stuff having gone up in the past few years(compared to the lower prices elsewhere), they do lose a point or two on my scale. That said, the $4 flat shipping on damn near everything on their site is nice. As is their Pile of Loot system, which allows you to accumulate a bunch of items before shipping it. Which is, again, only $4.
That said, they come highly recommended for me. Slightly higher prices, but quality of shipping and service, you cannot put a price on, imo.

EDIT: this was a very recent experience, they have always been good. Last edited by Mobiusgear1; 09-06-2022 at 11:20 PM.. |
