My favorite Iron Man armor has always been the Silver Centurion one. Guess I just love the Silver/Red combo. Anyway when the Iron Man 2 figures came out, I was stocked about them doing that armor. However I felt like I could improve upon it. So I did the usual pre wash and then painted the entire figure in silver. I then went over with clear red on the appropriate areas. I felt that the clear blue on the arc reactor and repulsers were a good contrast to the red and silver. I am quite pleased with the results and plan to do a whole series of Silver Centurion Iron Mans in various armors and post them here.

The next in my Silver Centurion series was actually what inspired the project. When Marvel vs Capcom 3 came out I noticed that one of the alternate costumes for Iron Man was a red a silver color scheme. I liked it so much that I had to give it a shot. Just like the previous one I did this is a straight repaint. I painted the entire figure in silver and went over with clear red for the armor and clear blue for the arc reactor/repulsors
