Why are the Cap figures cheaper then the Spider-Man ones? Glad I got mine at Target prices though.

I'm guessing that as well all know that marvel pretty much = spider-man that's kinda of general publics view of spider-man so he'll be more pricey than captain america because he's more famous shall we say. I could be wrong but it's what I've seen, I don't think spider-man needs a film to be sold as an action figure in all fairness where as captain america might need more of a push. at the beginning (toybiz) it was that spidey classics wave then i think marvel legends then movie based toys like x-men then more marvel legends then hasbro bought or got ownership. if you think about it spider-man is possibly the most marvel figure ever made to what in my vision. So of you guys are likely to be more experienced and have better knowledge but just saying could be one of the reason cause he's popular.

Those $24.99 numbers are typical TRU price raises on new product. They've been doing this for a few years now. The first couple of weeks of new product get raised higher than MSRP to try and get collectors to bite on it, especially when they think they'll be getting the figures in before anyone else or they have an exclusive. Wait a few weeks and it'll be back down to 19.99. Still quite happy to get all of these at Target for $14.99.

It's funny cuz I found carnage and black cat for $15 at target, but those new 3.75" captain america 2 figs are going for $13 at the trade I go to, the prices are almost even so I pick up either scale sometimes. Favorite is still 1/18th scale though.
