I wouldn't mind Michael Jai White because he might actually you know I don't know say wear a mask through out the movie. better known actors want that face time but if they do the story right it shouldn't matter as much

I think they want young-ish people as the stars of the movies (well, except for Iron Man. . .) With that in mind, I'd go with Rob Brown ("The Express"), with either Christopher Judge (Teal'c, "Stargate"), Roger Cross (Curtis Manning, "24"), or Denzel Washington as T'Chaka.

Nothing some CGI magic won't fix, or did you think Chris Evans' Cap was really him jumping off an exploding bus and flipping to a perfect landing in Avengers, lol. With good fight choreography I think a bulky actor could work and special effects magic could keep him looking agile.

But seriously, look at this list:
Young, Gifted and Black:12 Rising Movie Stars - The Moviefone Blog

My vote in order of preference:
1. Anthony Mackie
2. Colombus Short
3. Derek Luke

I think they should go with a younger T'challa so that he'd be in the same age range as Evans, Hemsworth, Johannsen...

That being said, if they decide to go older with the character I'd pick Djimon Hounsou in a heartbeat...

Personally I'd love to see the movie have a younger T'challa take his fathers place after his father is killed by Claw (or Man-Ape, Avengers:EMH style) and his hero's journey to earn his place as the new king.

An interesting take that reflects much of what we've been discussing. I really hope this movie is a for sure thing.
