I saw these today at TRU. I wanted to post here first as I don't personally remember hearing about these or seeing these, but not sure if they've been seen by the masses already.

I saw these tonight, and almost bit on them, as they include some decent figures from DC lines come and gone. The Batman one in particular almost got me, as I really loved those DCUC and Total Heroes versions of Bats...

If I'm correct...the Superman one is unique in that I believe that might be the first New 52 styled Superman in the DCUC format other than that one that released around the time the Injustice video game came out.

I personally think it's a really good deal, as it's priced nice enough with enough goodies for the collectors and the kids. Perfect for splitting up with your child. I hope they do an Aquaman and a Wonder Woman set!

Couldn't they have at least put in the packs the Non-New 52 versions?

I remember seeing TRU pages for these a while back, but I haven't yet seen them in-person. They're kinda cool sets. I actually like that the JLU molds are colored to look like their modern costumes rather than just being re-releases of their past decos. Those and the new 52 DCUC style figures kinda make these tempting.

What are these retailing for?

I kinda hope they do sets like these for other characters in the future. Wonder Woman and Green Lantern would be cool to see.

$39.99, which isn't too bad considering that normally a DCUC figure ran you about 15 to 20 dollars, while the Total Heroes figures were also close to that. Everything else is just gravy.

I think it's a great deal, and if you have kids, perfect, as you get something for them, and something for yourself too! I don't normally applaud Mattel's efforts, but this definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

Wow $40 is not bad at all. If I see the Superman set I may have to consider it.

And I'd definitely like to see one of these for GL and Flash.

I would like to see one of these sets for all the founding members of the JL.

However, keeping to their current formula, the only other eligible candidate is the Flash, because I believe that he is the only other person that has a New 52 DCUC figure.

Also, I know that there is a difference between this DCUC Batman and the original release, but is the Superman any different?

Pretty sure Wonder Woman had one so there should no problem making one for her.

Kmart has been getting single carded versions of Bruce Timm JL figures for a little while. I almost grabbed a set but realized they had New 52 piping painted on them. WB uses the WAR designs for New 52 so the figures started to look like a random mash-up no one asked for.

The basic BvS figures and the millionth repack of the total heroes figures are not desirable IMHO.

The Superman is different. He has a different head, a different S, and is a little bit bulkier than the original release.

Yeah, that is a really good deal. I don't have kids myself, but I'm sure my nephews could have some fun with the figures I don't want.

Actually, Wonder Woman and Aquaman both had new 52 styled figures, and while I don't think it was ever stated to be so, there was a Green Lantern figure in the last wave of DCUC that's commonly considered to be his new 52 design (had kind of a shiny paint job).

Only modern JL member left out is Cyborg.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to put the New 52 lines on a DCUC Hal's shoulders. Unless of course they go with John who to my knowledge hasn't had his suit changed post New 52 anyway.

Wait...what? K-Mart is selling new single carded Justice League or JLU (Bruce Timm animated style) figures? Do you happen to have any photos?

Thanks openchallenge.

Hate the capes a plenty. For Batman, give him the cape that he always uses for gliding, covering himself up, striking at his enemies, etc., not some stiff/plastic/cut-out cape. For Superman, give him the one that he always uses that's similarly cloth.
